The 35-year-old cemented his position by carding an 8-under 62 with nine birdies and one bogey on the previous day.Speaking to the Asian Tour News Service after his third round performance, Uihlein said:"Overall, it was fine, you know, it was a good enough day where I felt like it could’ve been really, really good. But, yeah, we’ll see."Uihlein has played in all six events of the Asian Tour's 2024 International Series. He won the event in England last August, tied for third at the Saudi Open and tied for sixth in Oman. His other two finishes were T42 in Morocco and T44 at the Black Mountain Championship.Courtesy of these results, Uihlein is third on the International Series standings, which is led by LIV reserve player John Catlin. Catlin is also taking part in the ongoing event in Thailand, where he is tied for 7th after 54 holes.
