Nelly Korda drops update after underperforming at the 2025 ShopRite LPGA Classic

Nelly Korda is still looking for her first win of the season. She has performed brilliantly in many events, and while her performance has been quite consistent, she has yet to register her first win of the season. Korda recently competed in the 2025 ShopRite LPGA Classic, and while there were high aspirations for her, her performance fell short.

Korda has provided fans with an update following a disappointing week in Galloway, New Jersey. She shared some photographs from the ShopRite LPGA Classic on Instagram. In addition to these incredible captured moments of her, Korda informed her fans that she would be taking a week off.

This isn't the first time Nelly Korda has taken an off week. In a 2024 interview, Korda even revealed the reason behind these off weeks. The golfer revealed how she listened to her mind about taking rest.

Korda noted on social media following the 2024 Chevron Championship:

"It was not an easy decision. After the unbelievable week at the Chevron and grinding through the mental and physical challenges of four events in the past five weeks, I am definitely feeling exhausted. With so much still to come throughout 2024, I feel I need to listen to my body and get some rest, so I can be ready for the remainder of the season.”

This might be why Nelly Korda has opted out of the Meijer LPGA Classic, which will start on June 12 at Blythefield Country Club.
