Popular golf analyst Brandel Chamblee has taken a fresh dig at Phil Mickelson, a veteran and one of the most popular faces in LIV Golf. The former Tour pro has been quite critical of the Saudi's PIF-backed golf league from time to time. His latest criticism of the 54-year-old LIV golfer has met with mixed reactions from the fans on social media.
The Golf Channel personality emerged as one of the most vocal critics of LIV after the league's inception in 2022. Chamblee's notable arguments about the golf league funded by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) have often drawn huge attention. On Sunday, June 8, six-time major winner Phil Mickelson came up in one of Chamblee's posts on X (formerly Twitter).
Chamblee criticised the nature of LIV Golf's competitive side while adding a jab at the players of the golf league. According to Chamblee, Mickelson and other LIV Golfers 'purely' play in the league for money. Brandel also called out the nature of Phil Mickelson's comments about other LIV players. A lot of fans aligned with Chamblee's statement regarding the Saudi PIF-backed league and Mickelson. Some of them also criticized Phil Mickelson in the comments.
"Phil is a greedy loser," a fan aligned with Brandel.

History will not be nice to phil and any of the other LIV golfers. They will/are going to get what they deserve, " another one wrote.

However, this was not the first time Chamblee criticised Mickelson. The feud has started since the beginning of Mickelson's decision to join the PIF-backed golf league.

A year after the Lefty joined LIV Golf, a feud escalated between Claude Harmon III and the Golf Channel analyst. It happened shortly after Chamblee spent more than 500 words to clarify his stance and criticise LIV Golf. Back in May 2023, Mickelson chipped into the conversation and fired shots at Brandel Chamblee.
Phil Mickelson replied to Claude Harmon III's comments and called out Chamblee's antics. Take a look at what Mickelson wrote on his X profile:

Mickelson is currently competing in the LIV Golf Virginia tournament at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. After two rounds, the HyFlyers GC leader is tied for the third position with a total 11-under par score.
