Who is leading the 2024 Andalucia Masters after day 3? Leaderboard explored

The third round of the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters ended this Saturday, October 19, at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. Julien Guerrier continued his strong performance, posting another low score and regaining a share of the lead with Jorge Campillo.

Guerrier and Campillo lead the Andalucia Masters at 19 under. Both are three shots clear of their nearest rival with 18 holes to play.

Julien Guerrier carded two eagles and five birdies with no bogeys to record ane xceptional 9-under 63 score in the third round of the Andalucia Masters. The performance moved him back into a share of the lead with Jorge Campillo, who had four birdies and no bogeys on Saturday.

Here's what Campillo told the DP World Tour News Service after his third round performance:

"I played quite solid – apart from nine I hit all the other greens so it was stress-free. I hit some great shots coming in but I didn't make the putts. I felt I was hitting great putts so hopefully tomorrow I can make some of the putts."

Meanwhile, here's what Guerrier had to say:

"The key is the short game - it's where I made my score. I hit two great shots on the par fives and a little bit of luck as well...It's not a sprint of a tournament, it's a marathon, so I just try to enjoy every moment. I just try to play my game and stay focused."

Rasmus Hojgaard made a significant move up the leaderboard in the Andalucia Masters, climbing 13 positions with a 7-under 65 in the third round to secure fifth place. Jon Rahm, meanwhile, remains in a share of sixth place after carding a 4-under 68 on Saturday.
