He excelled on the back nine where he had no bogeys and five birdies.Defending champion Sahith Theegala carded six birdies and three bogeys to tie for 22nd place after the first round of the Procore Championship. The top-ranked golfer in the field, Wyndham Clark, carded four birdies and two bogeys and is tied for 37th at the moment .Theegala and Clark will both play in the Presidents Cup in Canada in two weeks. Other members of both the U.S. and the International teams were in attendance at the Silverado Resort, including international captain Mike Weir.Among them, the highest-ranked player among them after the first round of the Procore Championship was Min Woo Lee (T9). Mackenzie Hughes finished the day T37 while Max Homa was tied at 54.Popular YouTuber and pro golfer Wesley Bryan carded six birdies and two bogeys to finish tied ninth after the end of day 1.
