Chiara Tamburlini carded five birdies and one bogey in the third round of the Wistron Ladies Open. The 24-year-old has led the event since day one and is chasing the third victory of her rookie season on the LET.

The Swiss, who also won the team event at the Aramco Team Series Shenzhen a week ago, had this to say to the tour's news service:

"I definitely improved my ball-striking a lot from yesterday. I stayed quite calm and patient because after yesterday, I knew the scores were going to be not so low again. It was a good learning yesterday for sure."

The previous day was challenging for many of the players. Tamburlini managed four bogeys and three birdies but was able to maintain her first-place position.

The best score on day three of the Wistron Ladies Open belonged to Marta Martín Par, who carded six birdies and one bogey. The Spaniard moved up 39 places on the leaderboard and is now tied for 17th.
