Who won the 2024 International Series Thailand? Final leaderboard explored

The International Series Thailand concluded this Sunday, October 27, at the Thai Country Club. LIV Golfer Peter Uihlein could not keep up the pace he showed in the first three rounds, allowing Lee Chieh-po to claim the victory.

Lee won the International Series Thailand with a score of 21 under. The Taipei native started the day three shots behind Uihlein, but closed the gap with a 7-under 63 in the final round.

The finale of the International Series Thailand was a close one, with Lee Chie-po, Peter Uihlein and Richard T. Lee all tied going into the final hole. There, Uihlein made his only bogey of the round while Richard Lee, the Canadian, made par. Meanwhile, Lee Chie-po birdied the hole to clinch the title.

This marked Lee Chie-po's first Asian Tour International Series win. Here's what he told the tour's news service after his triumph:

"It’s been a simply amazing week. I have come close to winning many times before. Even my first year on Tour in 2015, I nearly won. I think my tee shots and my putting are getting better and better, that’s why I can do even better this week."

This win moved Chie-po up to fourth in the International Series rankings. John Catlin, who finished tied for 12th in Thailand, continues to lead the overall standings.
