Xander Schauffele, the 2024 PGA Championship winner, arrives at Oakmont as a two-time major champion. His breakthrough came at the PGA Championship at Valhalla in May 2024, where he shot a final-round 65 to defeat Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland. A month later, Schauffele backed up his PGA win at The Memorial Tournament hosted by Jack Nicklaus. He gained over 7 strokes on the field.

Xander Schauffele now enters at Oakmont Country Club, widely regarded as the quintessential course for the US Open, with nine top-10 finishes in 13 starts this season. Previously, the US Open has not been lucky for Schauffele as he has finished T5 or less in five of his last six starts in the competition. It includes his T3 finish in 2019 at Pebble Beach and T5 in 2023 at the Los Angeles County Club. Now, let's look at all the top-ranked players at the 2025 US Open, including Schauffele.
