Rebeca Andrade, the Brazilian star artistic gymnast, achieved a phenomenal feat after her recent performance at the 2023 Pan American Games on Tuesday, 24 October.
The event, which is being held in Santiago, Chile, witnessed a near-perfect vault by Rebeca Andrade who received a 9.733 execution score from the judges.
Rebeca, the reigning Olympic champion in women’s vault, expressed her excitement about the perfect finish after the event.
"Vault was pretty good and I’m happy and proud of everything I presented today," Rebeca was quoted as saying by olympics.com.
She also stated about the efforts she has put in for such a performance and the happiness she extracts from the art of table jumping.
"I am delighted and deeply honored to have successfully executed a commendable leap. Following the highly competitive World Championships in Antwerp, where I delivered outstanding performances, I firmly assert that achieving this feat was our primary objective."
