#4 Eddie Edwards aligns with Matt Cardona on IMPACT Wrestling to take down Brian Myers and Hernandez
During last week's IMPACT Wrestling, Eddie Edwards took on Brian Myers in a one-on-one clash. However, the match ended on a shocking note when Edwards bit Myers' forehead to bust him open and got himself disqualified. On this week's episode, Myers came out to the ring and laid down a challenge to Edwards. Just when the latter showed up to take his opponent down, Hernandez showed up and began brutalizing Edwards, aligning with Myers.
Myers' former tag team partner from WWE, Matt Cardona, made the save for Edwards and took down the two. By the looks of it, we are probably heading towards a tag team match between the two teams at IMPACT Wrestling No Surrender. As good as this match would be, this story seems inconsistent at best.
Coming out of the Barbed Wire Massacre against Sami Callihan at Hard to Kill, Edwards looked on the verge of losing his sanity, further evidenced by last week's actions. But here we have him tagging a new face and taking down a heel duo. Or are we heading towards a heel turn from Edwards, who will betray Cardona and kickstart a feud?
