#3 Josh Alexander registers a momentum boosting victory over Madman Fulton on IMPACT Wrestling
After a hard-fought battle against Madman Fulton, where he was brutalized throughout the match, Josh Alexander came up with a momentum boosting victory on IMPACT Wrestling.
During the match, Fulton's partner Ace Austin was at the ringside and was seemingly enjoying the beatdown. The feud began a couple of weeks before on IMPACT Wrestling, where Austin and Fulton attacked Alexander backstage. This would ideally lead to a singles bout between Austin and Alexander at No Surrender, which has all the potential to be the best on the whole pay-per-view.
However, the most intriguing part was Matt Cardona's absence. Last week, it looked like the two have allied, but there was no follow-up on today's episode. Moreover, Cardona has instead allied with Eddie Edwards, which renders the last week's developments useless.
Nevertheless, the possible match at No Surrender would be the opportunity to finally thrust Alexander into the main event scene, as he's proven time and again how valuable of a player he is for IMPACT Wrestling.
