IMPACT Wrestling has utilized the oft-mentioned "forbidden door" over the past twelve months. By establishing working relationships with companies such as AEW, AAA, NWA and NJPW, IMPACT Wrestling has seen various competitors from other promotions appear on their programming.

Jordynne Grace was asked which competitors she would like to face that she has never wrestled before. The former Knockouts Champion singled out two names from the AEW roster as potential future opponents:

"Well, I think I've answered this a few times. But, Leyla Hirsch from AEW. I think she's amazing. We have kind of a similar background. I know we both did some amateur wrestling in the past and we kind of have the same style, so i feel like that would be really good. Also, another big one is [Hikaru] Shida from AEW, i feel like we would really mesh well."

Jordynne Grace has been seen as a pioneer by some for her frequent participation in intergender wrestling. Grace has regularly competed against male wrestlers in IMPACT Wrestling and in various independent wrestling shows too. In fact, Jordynne Grace challenged for the X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory last year.

When asked about what the future of intergender wrestling looked like, Grace stated that she felt that it was only the beginning and the term 'intergender wrestling' would eventually be dropped:

"I feel like it's just going to become more and more mainstream. People are going to get more used to it the more they do it. And I just feel like it's going to be considered wrestling in general in the future. I don't think people are going to refer to it as 'intergender wrestling' anymore, they're just going to see it as something that happens all the time," said Grace.
