Ahead of her title defense against Tasha Steelz, Mickie James battled Chelsea Green in singles competition where the latter gained the upper hand. Green countered James' DDT and delivered the Cutter which prompted Steelz to leave commentary and throw a trash bin at Green.
Savannah Evans attacked Green thus awarding her a Disqualification win. James made the save, setting up a tag team match between the four of them on the go-home edition of IMPACT Wrestling ahead of No Surrender.

Jay White tried to plot the seeds of dissenssion between Violent By Design and The Good Brothers by questioning the integrity of their alliance, prompting an interruption from VBD. Eric Young stated that the Bullet Club was hanging onto something popular from 10 years ago and issued a six-man tag team match for the go-home edition.
The Good Brothers joined the fray and tried to take credit for the Bullet Club's popularity and stated that they have been everywhere.
