We had an enthralling edition of IMPACT Wrestling this week as we witnessed the fallout from Bound For Glory 2021. Some old feuds continued, and some new rivalries developed.

X-Division champion Trey Miguel defended his title against Rocky Romero. Mickie James addressed the IMPACT Zone following her title win over Deonna Purrazzo. Rhino and Heath added a new chapter in their rivalry with Violent By Design (VBD).

We also saw multiple brawls throughout the show, setting up a massive match for next week. IMPACT World Champion Moose reflected on his title win at the pay-per-view and found his first challenger.

So without further ado, check out the five major talking points from this week's IMPACT Wrestling. Feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

#5 Heath and Rhino went to war against VBD on IMPACT Wrestling

The story between Heath, Rhino, and VBD has been building up for a long time now. Ever since his return from injury, Heath has been looking for an answer from Rhino to join him in his battle against VBD, but he didn't get one for weeks.

In last Saturday's Bound For Glory, Heath faced Joe Doering and Cody Deaner and was in a precarious position in the match. But Rhino made the save, and the duo walked away with a win.

This week on IMPACT Wrestling, Heath faced Doering in a one-on-one match that ended abruptly in chaos as the two teams brawled.

Rhino and Heath had gained the upper hand, but Eric Young returned from his injury and attacked Rhino. The numbers game quickly caught up to the duo as VBD laid them out cold with a three-on-two assault.

#4 Mickie James finds a challenger on IMPACT Wrestling

After winning the Knockouts Championship at IMPACT Wrestling's Bound For Glory from Deonna Purrazzo, Mickie James came out to address the IMPACT Zone this week. She admitted that Purrazzo gave her the most challenging fight of her career and stated that although she has a rematch clause, she is nowhere to be found since the event.

James was willing to defend the title against anyone until Purrazzo's return. Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K interrupted her. The former claimed she never gets the credit for building the Knockouts division. \

Rayne further stated that while James left IMPACT to make money in other companies, she stayed and helped the division grow.

She further bragged about her five reigns as the Knockouts Champion while James had four, challenging her for the title. After James accepted, the title match was made official for next week.

#3 X-Division title defended on IMPACT Wrestling

The newly crowned X-Division champion Trey Miguel defended his title against Rocky Romero. They had a fantastic match, with the champion retaining his title courtesy of a brainbuster and a Meteora.

After the match, Miguel was brutally attacked by Steve Maclin, who declared his intentions to challenge him. Later on, a fatal four-way #1 Contender match featuring Rohit Raju, Steve Maclin, Laredo Kid, and Black Taurus was announced for next week.

#2 Moose takes shots at AEW and WWE on IMPACT Wrestling

This week's IMPACT Wrestling kicked off with World Champion Moose addressing his actions at Bound For Glory. But before he could utter a word, Eddie Edwards interrupted him, and a brawl broke out, leading security to come out and separate them.

Post-brawl, Moose said that he did the worst thing by taking away everything Josh Alexander ever worked for, but he had no regrets. He further called himself the greatest champion in professional wrestling and took shots at Kenny Omega, Roman Reigns, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and The New Day.

"It doesn't matter how elite you are, it doesn't matter what tribe you're chief to, it doesn't matter if you're the boss, the man, the queen...hell you can add a new day to the week - I'm still the greatest champion in all of professional wrestling." Moose said.

#1 Minoru Suzuki debuts on IMPACT Wrestling

While cutting the promo, Moose turned towards the locker room and sent a message to the entire roster. Josh Alexander showed up and drove him away with a German Suplex.

At that point, IMPACT Wrestling's latest acquisition Minoru Suzuki entered the ring and brawled with Alexander which caused security to intervene and separate them.

Back from an ad break, Moose was confronted by Matt Cardona as they engaged in a brawl. Later on, IMPACT Wrestling's Executive Vice-President Scott D'Amore announced a massive six-man tag team match between Alexander, Cardona, Edwards, and Moose with two partners of his choosing.

Moose convinced Morrissey to be his partner by promising him a title shot in return. They convinced Suzuki to join forces with them, setting up a mega clash for next week.
