All eyes will be on the leader of the Bullet Club, Jay White, as he arrives in the IMPACT Zone this week. The NEVER Openweight champion made his stunning debut after Kenny Omega defeated Sami Callihan for the IMPACT World Championship in a no disqualification match at Slammiversary's main event.
The Switchblade gave a bone-chilling moment for fans in attendance as he slowly marched towards Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers. The Elite then teased a too-sweet moment with Jay White. However, the company decided to end the show on a cliffhanger.
The T.V. world couldn't see what happened after the show went off the air, but fans in attendance certainly did. We found out that David Finlay came out afterward to attack Jay White, making him retreat.
Based on the equation, Jay White had a target on his back in the form of David Finlay. Both men are also scheduled to face each other in August.
With IMPACT Wrestling's Bound for Glory pay-per-view still months away, the company may hold onto the rivalry between Jay White and Kenny Omega. This week, fans can expect Switchblade to elaborate on his arrival in IMPACT Wrestling.
According to reports, Chris Bey joined forces with Jay White during this week's tapings. Considering the direction, Jay White could be laser-focused on expanding his faction.
It also remains to be seen if Jay White will retaliate against David Finlay to build more hype for their match. Regardless of what happens, one thing is for sure Jay White will draw big numbers for IMPACT Wrestling.
#4 Mickie James arrives on IMPACT Wrestling
Five-time WWE Women's Champion Mickie James will also appear in the upcoming episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
Mickie James was another stunning surprise that the company gave during the Slammiversary event. She appeared soon after Deonna Purrazzo defeated Thunder Rosa for the Knockouts Championship. Fans popped out of their seats as soon as they heard Hardcore Country music which is one of the most popular themes of Mickie James' career.
She confronted Purrazzo and respectfully invited her to partake in the upcoming NWA's pay-per-view, Empowerrr. However, Virtuosa was furious over James ruining her special moment. She went on to mock James, eventually ordering her to get out of the ring. Mickie James, upon feeling disrespected, delivered her signature Mick Kick to IMPACT Wrestling star Deonna Purrazzo, making her retreat from the ring.
One would assume that the upcoming appearance from Mickie James could be about promoting NWA's Empowerrr event, which is scheduled to take place on August 28.
Meanwhile, Deonna must be eyeing vengeance, and we may get to see another confrontation between the two women. But this time, Purrazzo could assault the former WWE superstar. She may also declare her participation in the Empowerrr event.
#3 Chelsea Green teams up with Matt Cardona & Jake Something to take on Brian Myers, Sam Beale & Tenille Dashwood on IMPACT Wrestling
It is worth noting that the Slammiversary event has presumably changed the landscape of IMPACT Wrestling. Chelsea Green is yet another name that has returned to the company.
At Slammiversary, she joined forces with her fiance, Matt Cardona, to face Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood. The IT couple won the match comprehensively.
It looks like the rivalry will continue this week as the couple teams up with Jake Something to take on Brian Myers, Tenille Dashwood & Sam Beale in a mixed-tag team match. The inclusion of Jake Something makes sense from a storyline perspective as he has also been embroiled in a feud with Brian Myers before Cardona made his comeback.
The match could once again provide the spotlight on Chelsea Green. It is worth noting that she brought back her famous ''Hot Mess'' gimmick. This week's matchup could all be about elevating her status in the company.
Green also made it clear that she wants the Knockouts Championship. The company will be giving her some momentum-gaining victories before she knocks on the door of IMPACT Wrestling star Deonna Purrazzo.
#2 Chris Bey faces Rohit Raju on IMPACT Wrestling
A singles match featuring Chris Bey and Rohit Raju will take place on the upcoming episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
Pitting two mid-card heels against each other is a questionable booking from the company. Both men participated in the Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship, which Josh Alexander won. Following the match, both men had an altercation, blaming the lack of assistance from their friends that cost them their match. Raju, on his way out, delivered the Bullet Club's T-shirt to Chris Bey.
Here's an interesting thing, we earlier stated that Chris Bey has possibly joined hands with Jay White during the tapings. Based on the reports, one could expect Jay White to make multiple appearances on the show.
Aside from addressing IMPACT Wrestling fans, he could also help Chris Bey defeat Rohit Raju. The said equation could lead to Bey officially joining the most popular faction of NJPW, the Bullet Club.
Regardless of what happens, fans will enjoy the match between Bey and Raju. Both men will be out to showcase their impressive athleticism in the ring.
#1 Rosemary and Havok defends their Knockouts Tag Team titles against Fire 'N Flava on IMPACT Wrestling
On the upcoming episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Fire 'N Flava will challenge Rosemary and Havok for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships in a rematch from Slammiversary. Rosemary and Havok defeated Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan, thus ending their second reign of two months.
Both teams delivered impressive performances last week, leaving no stone unturned in giving a great reception to the returning fans at the Slammiversary event. Their upcoming rematch will be nothing short of another hard-hitting contest.
But it is unlikely that Rosemary and Havok will be losing their titles anytime soon. The bout on IMPACT Wrestling this week is most likely to end their feud, with Fire 'N Flava possibly demoted to the back of the Knockouts division for the time being.
