The Bengaluru FC fans are well known for their vociferous support of their side. This support has been fuelled by the fact that they have won two I-League titles in their short tenure in Indian football.

Now, having made the switch to the Indian Super League, BFC have turned a new leaf in their history, as they played their first ever ISL match at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, in Bengaluru, on Sunday.

The West Block Blues, the official fan-group of BFC, are famous for their support to their team. They unfurl huge banners and come up with creative chants, in order to spur their team on, making it difficult for the opposition to go to the Kanteerava due to the-ever vocal fans at the West Block of the stadium.

After winning their debut match in the ISL, the Bengaluru FC players headed over to their West Block Stand and started the famous Viking chant. This chant was made famous by Iceland at the Euro 2016.

However, another video surfaced on Youtube after the end of the match. This video shows a set of fans, seemingly BFC supporters, taunting the Kerala Blasters fans.

While Kerala's fans had threatened to buy out all the tickets of the West Block stand, a stand that is generally filled by the home supporters, a section of the Bengaluru supporters came up with a counter-chant of their own, a chant in which they mock the Kerala fans, singing "Kerala is full of ****."

There's been a lot of rivalry between the two sets of supporters, over the past, and and it looks like the tensions boiled over yet again, after the Bengaluru FC vs Mumbai City FC game.

Earlier this year, the Bengaluru FC fans had been reportedly abused by the Kerala fans, after the former came up with a couple of chants to harmlessly make fun of players like CK Vineeth and Rino Anto.

Most recently, sections of the Kerala fans came up with a similar chant to mock the ATK fans, ahead of their ISL 2017 season opener against the Kolkata club. In a striking similarity to the infamous chant by Bengaluru, the Kerala fans also sang "Kolkata is full of ****", as per a video that surfaced on Facebook.

While rivalry between two sets of fans is good for the game, the supporter groups tend to take things a bit too far, at times. This could eventually go on to have dangerous consequences. Football, after all, is a beautiful game.
