Danica Patrick has spent most of her adult life in the limelight, having made her IndyCar debut in 2005 at 23 years old. In a recent interview, the former IndyCar and NASCAR driver revealed her relationship status and also her ideal of a masculine-feminine dynamic in relationships.
Patrick's last known relationship was with Carter Comstock, an entrepreneur and angel investor. The duo parted ways in March 2022 after nearly a year of dating. Since then, she hasn't divulged details of her relationship status, apart from a photo of her kissing a mystery man during the Burning Man Festival in 2024.
In a recent conversation with podcaster Haley Dillon on YouTube, Danica Patrick was asked if she was single.
"Yeah, yeah," she said with a smile on her face.
When Dillon asked whether the 43-year-old was fixated on dating a famous person, Patrick succinctly replied:
"No."
After the duo discussed their versions of an ideal relationship and what they'd expect from one, Danica Patrick spoke about how she would want her man to have a good sense of humor, among other traits. The host interjected, explaining how famous US comedian Theo Von would be the perfect guy for Patrick.
Haley Dillon referred to Patrick meeting Von at Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th US President in January, and how she'd texted her then to "marry" the comedian/podcaster.
"I do have Theo's number," Patrick jokingly replied. "He was very sweet. He was so funny that day. That was at the inauguration. I was in this very eclectic group of people that got put together to go to the Capitol. Theo was one of those people and I basically sat with him all day, like, sat with him on the bus over there, sat with him for the inauguration portion." [48:46 onwards]
Patrick had shared a photo dump from Trump's inauguration on Instagram on January 22. The first slide had her sitting besides Theo Von and Alexandr Wang, the CEO of Scale AI. In the background of the photo were Logan Paul and Jake Paul, and Donald Trump's advisor, Alex Bruesewitz.
Danica Patrick on her 'emotionally abusive' relationship with NFL icon Aaron Rodgers

Danica Patrick dated NFL player Aaron Rodgers for over two years from January 2018 to July 2020. In May this year, she revealed how the relationship with the Super Bowl champion was toxic for her.
She appeared on an episode of American sportscaster Sage Steele's show. When Steele asked Patrick about the "most amount of pain" she's ever felt, the former IndyCar driver replied:
"The breakup with Aaron in 2020. Because it was sudden, it felt like. It was my life. So, like when you live with somebody, it’s your whole life. And because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing. People could never imagine that I would lack … any confidence or belief in the simple things about who I am. Everything was torn to bits."
On the professional front, Danica Patrick continues to be an F1 analyst for Sky Sports. She also covered the 109th Indy 500 on May 25 as part of the FOX team. However, racing fans continue to have mixed feelings about her presence, considering her controversial comments in the past.
