Juncos Hollinger Racing's Indy NXT driver Lindsay Brewer attended the 2024 Las Vegas GP. Brewer, infamous for her modeling work arrived at the race venue wearing a Papaya orange minidress. The Indy NXT driver posted stories on her Instagram account as she showed off her outfit. While doing so, she also revealed her support for the McLaren F1 team.
Lindsay Brewer posted a video of herself in the all-orange outfit on Instagram stories with the caption, "Race Ready@f1," the chequered flag, and the orange heart emoji. The 27-year-old paired the shimmery orange minidress with a light orange fur coat. The look was completed with beige knee-length boots.
In the next story, she revealed her support for the McLaren F1 team. In the video, the Indy NXT driver flaunted her outfit, and the caption read, "Papaya Orange for race day." She also tagged Mclaren and Mastercard in her stories with the hashtag #MastercardAmbassador.
The 'Papaya team' signed a sponsorship deal with Mastercard earlier this year in July. The 2024 Las Vegas GP saw Mastercard's debut appearance on the McLaren car. This move came amid speculations that Mastercard could potentially become McLaren's title sponsor in the future. Being a Mastercard Ambassador, Lindsay Brewer was possibly invited to the event by the McLaren sponsor.
Regardless, the Las Vegas GP was one to forget for the Papaya crew and drivers. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri started the race in P6 and P8 respectively. The Briton finished where he started whereas the Australian went up a single place. However, the biggest blow was dealt by the fact that Max Verstappen finished ahead of Norris in the F1 driver's championship standings, ending the Papaya driver's 2024 championship dream.
Lindsay Brewer, on the other hand, later posted a reel on her Instagram handle with Arrow McLaren driver Pato O'Ward.
“I’ve Met Some Pretty Wonderful People”: Pato O’Ward answers Lindsay Brewer’s question on traveling with McLaren’s F1 team
Pato O'Ward is a full-time driver for the McLaren Indycar team. However, he also serves as the reserve driver for the Woking-based F1 team. The Arrow McLaren driver paired up with the Indy NXT sensation at the Las Vegas GP and answered a few questions for a reel.
Brewer posted the same on her Instagram handle in collaboration with Mastercard's account. The Juncos Hollinger Racing driver mentioned that she was at the Las Vegas GP with Mastercard and explained how the brand is known for providing unparalleled experiences.
She then asked O'Ward about his best experience of traveling with McLaren's F1 team, to which he replied:
"It really is a show, I would say. There's so much involved with all these F1 events and what it is like to be part of a big racing team with such a prestigious name. If it's not the one in a car, I've met some pretty wonderful people that you would never even think to cross paths with."
Lindsay Brewer closed the question by adding, "Yes, like here we are today", followed up by an affirmation from Pato O'Ward.
