Statistics indicate that Ravinder Pahal has the highest Successful Tackles per Match Ratio in both the seasons of the Pro Kabaddi League. Moreover, if you compare the two seasons, Pahal’s successful tackle to match ratio was 3.22 in the first season of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League, just 0.04 above Manjeet Chillar in second place. Earned the captain’s armband

Dabang Delhi team management had decided to rotate the captain’s armband at the start of season two, to give every player a chance to showcase their leadership qualities. Pahal got the armband during Dabang Delhi’s thrilling win over the Puneri Paltan in just their second game of the season.

Former coach Honnappa Gowda was so impressed with Pahal’s leadership qualities that he decided to stick with Pahal as captain for the next game against the Bengal Warriors. There was no looking back for Pahal from there on as he became Dabang Delhi’s skipper for the rest of the season.

Ravinder Pahal hails from the Kabaddi cultured village of Sonepat in Haryana. The village has a great tradition of playing top class Kabaddi players and has numerous Kabaddi clubs.

According to Pahal, there would be more than twenty boys ready to play Kabaddi at any point of time in his village.
