Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Patna and Hyderabad; the Pro Kabaddi caravan has traversed these places before it descends on Delhi today. While each of the aforementioned have added to the charm of the event in their own way, if the locals here are to be believed, the capital and its people shall supersede all of that and gift us with 4 days of fun and frolic, mingled with some high intensity sporting action.
Talking ahead of their first match against the Bengal Warriors tomorrow, senior player and one of the league’s top raider Kashiling Adake said, “Delhi is a place filled with extremely passionate people and that showed last year when they came to support us here.
“This year too, I expect the same. From what I have heard, it’s a sell out and that’s extremely encouraging for us.”
The franchise as we know is owned and managed by DoIt Sports Management and team owner Radha Kapoor added to what Kashi enforced earlier, “The second season has been great so far. Our captain Ravinder (Pahal) is currently the number 1 defender in Start Sports Pro Kabaddi League and two of our raiders, Kashi and Rohit (Kumar Chaudhary), are among the top 10 raiders.
