The Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) has announced their 12-member men's squad for the Kabaddi event set to take place in the 2019 South Asian Games. The Kabaddi event in the 13th South Asian Games will commence from 4th December 2019 and culminate on 9th December 2019, in Kathmandu-Pokhara, Nepal.

Regular skipper Nasir Ali will be leading the team as the captain. The selectors were unable to pick their right corner defender Wasim Sajjad, as a result of his retirement from the national team. The likes of Mudassir Shah and Kashif Razzaq are some notable names in the raiding department of the squad this year. They were also a part of the bronze medal-winning team at Dubai Kabaddi Masters, and Asian Games 2018.

Pakistan is the second most successful team in the sport of Kabaddi at the South Asian Games. Having clinched the gold medal in the 1983 South Asian Games, Pakistan has won six silver and three bronze medals at the event. They have been a tough challenge to India in the tournament over the years, with 5-consecutive appearances in the final.

With a perfect mix of youth and experience in their line-up, Pakistan will be hoping to clinch their second-ever gold medal in the South Asian Games this year.

Pakistan Kabaddi team's full squad: Nasir Ali (C), Mudassir Shah, Nadim Warraich, Sajjad Lado, Waqar Dogar, Imran Haji, Asad Rana, Kashif Razzaq, Aklaq Hussain, Usman Jutt, Ahsan Jutt, and Sufyan Jutt
