UP Yoddha take on Tamil Thalaivas at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna as both the teams look to gain momentum after a mediocre season so far. Both teams will begin the match in the bottom half of the table as Tamil Thalaivas are placed at the 7th spot while the Yoddha are 2nd from bottom in the Pro Kabaddi 2019 points table.
The Nitesh Kumar-led side started their season on a disastrous note with two losses, one each against the Bengal Warriors and Gujarat Fortunegiants by massive scorelines of 17-48 and 19-44 respectively.
However, the Yoddha brought their campaign back on track against U Mumba with a win in the Mumbai Leg. While both the teams havent been convincing so far, the Tamil Thalaivas will hold an edge over the UP Yoddha due to their recent form and the fact that their key players have been performing better than those in the UP team.
