The last time the Yoddhas and the Thaialvas crossed swords, the former emerged victorious. The Yoddhas dominated the match, clinching a 40-24 win. Since then, the side has continued that momentum to eke out a 42-40 victory over the Patna Pirates.

On the other end, Nitesh Kumar has been an impenetrable wall on the defense for the Tamil Thalaivas. The left-corner made his PKL debut with the team last season, playing nine matches and scoring four points. He's made a dramatic improvement since then, earning 43 points from his 12 matches this year, including two Super Tackles and four High 5s.

Vishal Chahal vs Sumit Sangwan

For the Tamil Thalaivas, Vishal Chahal has been a promising raider. The youngster made a strong PKL debut last year, scoring 35 points in 10 matches. He's built on that momentum this year, collecting 27 points in his seven outings on the mat. Chahal's best performance came earlier in November when he scored 12 points in the Thailavas’ win over the Bengal Warriorz.

The left-raider is playing his third season with the team and has proven his worth as an experienced player this year, having collected 82 points in the 12 times he's been on the mat. Kandola boasts a tackle strike rate of 43% and has scored three Super 10s this year.

Keeping Kandola on his toes tonight will be Hitesh, the UP Yoddhas' lethal right-corner. Hitesh made his PKL debut in Season 10, scoring 31 points in 17 matches. He's already bettered his stats this year, having racked up 37 points in 12 matches. He has a tackle strike rate of 67% and has managed to score seven Super Tackles and four High 5s so far this season.
