Curtains came down on the Mumbai leg with the final clash between U Mumba and the Jaipur Pink Panthers going right down to the wire, making for a perfect ending in context of the home fans as the U Mumba team clinched the all important win in the dying minutes.

But apart from this, the Mumbai leg might go down in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League as quite an epic one, for there were many firsts' that were recorded. For the first time, two matches were washed off despite kabaddi being a sport that is played indoors. Moreover, in a match, a red card was shown for the first time to Ravinder Pahal of the Bengaluru Bulls for his heated argument with the referees post a tackle that he executed.

But despite all of this, the Mumbai leg witnessed a lot of action-packed clashes, many of them swinging like a pendulum through the course of the match, adding to the delight of the viewers not only in the stadium but across television screens pan-India.

#5 Ajay Thakur (Tamil Thalaivas)

The tall, lanky raider led the attacking charge for the new entrants Tamil Thalaivas not only in the capacity of a raider but also as a captain. His swiftness and agility were quite on point in Mumbai and he ended up amassing 17 points from the two matches that he played, which included a Super-10 outing as well.

His extended hand touches on the cover defenders as well as the bonus points from under the nose of the corner defenders were executed to perfection and one felt that the Ajay Thakur from the Kabaddi World Cup was finally back in action. He will look to carry on with the same kind of momentum in the Kolkata leg.

The young gun announced himself on the scene when he made the cut to the starting seven in place of Nitin Madane. He immediately stole the spotlight with his rampant raids and thereby cemented his place in the squad as well.

His quick successful raids added to the teams' strength while also relieving a lot of pressure off Anup Kumar's shoulders. With over 20 points from just four matches at home, Shrikant has now become a young raider to watch out for in the Mumbai camp for the forthcoming matches.

#3 Pawan Kumar (Jaipur Pink Panthers)

The former U Mumba recruit was stellar in attack for the Jaipur Pink Panthers with his raids. He displayed a plethora of skills on the mat, ranging from the toe touches, kicks, hand touches and bonus points, along with his ability to find escape routes and evade dashes.

He got the better off the Mumbai defence not just once but in both matches. He thus spearheaded the charge for his side alongside skipper, Jasvir Singh and finished the Mumbai leg with an average of 9.5 raid points per match.

#2 Anup Kumar (U Mumba)

Captain Cool played up to his reputation in the home leg, amassing 29 points in total for the team in the home leg, which included one superb outing of 11 points against Dabang Delhi. Anup was in classic form with his raids and displayed his trademark move, the toe touch to absolute perfection in most matches on the corner defenders.

He ensured that the scoreboard kept ticking otherwise as well as he made continuous inroads into the defences of most teams with his consistent performances.

The local Maharashtra man came into his very own in the home leg for U Mumba with quite a few stellar displays on the mat, particularly in the last match against the Jaipur Pink Panthers when he powered the team across the finish line with his key two-point raid in the dying minutes of that encounter.

He finished with a Super-10 in that match and prior to that had already picked up 23 points from four matches. Kashi was particularly more vital to the team's success in the last couple of matches, for he ensured that if he did not manage to pick up a touch point on the raid, he at least sneaked in a bonus.
