Girish Ernak (Puneri Paltan)
Girish Ernak was recently made the captain of Puneri Paltan and has done his defending with great finesse. He had 10 tackle points from 2 games in the Haryana leg with 1 High Five. He swapped his preferred left corner position to the left cover position to provide stability to the team's cover defending.
Young all-rounder Akshay Jadhav has taken over the left corner and has done a good job so far. Girish has been fantastic to watch this season both as captain and defender as his arsenal of defensive moves has been upgraded this season. He has timed his tackles, especially the dash to perfection. It has caught a raider off guard many a time and he has also developed a very strong block and thigh hold.
He will be our left cover defender.
Nitin Rawal (Jaipur Pink Panthers)
Nitin Rawal looked impressive in his side's only game in the Haryana leg against the Haryana Steelers. He scored 11 points and his super raid at a crucial time helped turn the match in their favour.
He has looked sharp and very swift with his turns and running hand touch. He has also played the right cover and corner position chipping in with crucial tackle points. He was retained by the team this season and he has repaid the team's faith in him with top performances in the team's games so far. He will look to continue his great form for the rest of the season.
He will be our all-rounder and will play in the right cover.
