The Scout- Pro Kabaddi Season 6

Star raider in the making
Star raider in the making!

After 5 glorious and incredibly successful seasons, Pro Kabaddi season 6 is just around the corner. Starting on October 5th, get ready for another 3 months of enthralling action in what promises to be the biggest season yet.

We already know all about established players like Anup Kumar, Surjeet, Surender Nada, Pardeep Narwal, Rahul Chaudhari, Rohit Kumar and Monu Goyat.

Lets, however, take a look at a few potential stars in the making.

After a remarkable Asian Games 2018, perhaps some of these players will be donning the blue of India in the near future.

Sachin Tawar - Gujarat Fortunegiants

Scoring 159 raid points in his maiden season, the young man certainly took to the mat like a fish to water. He will undoubtedly be the main raider this season. After being overlooked by Team India, Sachin will be hungry to prove the national selectors wrong. A lean and agile raider, don't be surprised when you hear 'Sachin, Sachin' chants echo around the stadium's across India.

Nitin Rawal - Jaipur Pink Panthers

Plan B? Reconsider
Plan B? Reconsider!

Initially picked as a defender, Nitin Rawal took Pro Kabaddi season 5 by storm. With his knack for quick raids combined with the ability to pick up bonus points, Rawal quickly turned into the Panther's Plan A when it came to raiding. An all-rounder by trade, Rawal scored 85 points in season 5, 65 of them were raid points. While we look forward to see Anup Kumar and Deepak Hooda don the pink jersey, let's not forget about the man who stepped up when Manjeet Chillar and Jasvir Singh struggled last year. My bet would be on Rawal ending up as the top scorer this season.

Pawan Kumar Kadian - Dabang Delhi KC

Steal of the season?
Steal of the season?

Picked up the Dabang's for just Rs.13 Lakhs at the auctions, it was perhaps the deal of the season. Even though Pawan has taken part in all 5 seasons of Pro Kabaddi, season 5 was was a breakout year for him, scoring a remarkable 122 raid points. To put that into perspective, Kumar had scored a total of 87 points in 34 matches in seasons 1-4, while in season 5 he notched up 122 points in 21 matches. Expect big things from this man come season 6.

Girish Maruti Ernak - Puneri Paltan

The new beast in town.
The new beast in town.

One of the few players that had their reputation unscathed at the Asian Games, Ernak is perhaps the leagues best Left Corner at the moment. A powerful ankle hold and excellent sense of judgement, Ernak scored an exceptional 64 tackle points last season. Playing alongside the likes of Sandeep Narwal and Rajesh Mondal, expect High 5's on a consistent basis.

Vishal Bhardwaj - Telugu Titans

A Key Telugu Asset?
A Key Telugu Asset?

Bhardwaj was the standout player for Telugu last season with an impressive 71 tackle points. While Rahul Chaudhari steals most of the headlines, this man also deserves his fair share of the plaudits. The Titans main weakness last season was their defence. This year they have brought in Iranian powerhouse Abozar Mighani and Sombir to play alongside Bhardwaj. With a formidable defence, expect big things from him and the Titans, in general, this season.
