The latest mauka-mauka ad has little to do with cricket and more to do with Kabaddi. A special appearance by Bollywood star Salman Khan adds to the massive twist towards the end of the advertisement, which again shows fans donning jerseys of their countries.
As Salman highlights the importance of a new opportunity or ‘mauka’, when one chance goes, the mob of fans around him are quite clueless about it. Khan then goes on to reveal the latest ‘mauka’ as the upcoming ‘Pro Kabaddi League’.
This is the first time the ‘mauka mauka’ series has attempted to field a new sport outside cricket. With the massive success of the first season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Star Sports are attempting to cash in by giving the indigenous sport, a prime-time ad slot on the channel.
The second season of PKL is all set to begin towards the end of March/beginning of April. Star Sports are yet to reveal the schedule. Watch the video here:
