That was it from me (Sameer Deodhar) and my colleague Pratyush Rohra! Stay tuned at SportsKeeda for further games in the Big Bash League! Have a good day!
Wes Agar has been awarded the Player of the Match award.

Wes Agar :
: It's simplicity in my game which has helped me achieve success this year. At times I used to change a lot of things, but this year I just backed myself. Having such wonderful coaches has helped me immensely. We all stood up, took up the roles and I feel real proud of the boys. I tend not to look at analysis much. So sad and I am going to miss him (Rashid). He's been great. He gave me one of his bats.
The Adelaide Strikers have pulled off what looked like a tough run-chase halfway into the second innings. Most of the Strikers batsmen got starts but threw it away except Matt Renshaw, he just went bang bang straightaway, got one over the fence and then perished on 9. His opening partner Philip Salt nudged away to 31 off 22 deliveries. He hit 4 boundaries but failed to really get going into the run-chase.

Alex Carey, the skipper, never looked dangerous today during his 20-ball 21 and threw his wicket away with a reverse sweep trying to earn that Bash Boost point. However, Jonathan Wells (36 off 27) and Jake Weatherald (19 off 16) ensured that the game hanged in balance until the death overs came along and enabled the likes of Ryan Gibson to finish off the game in their favour. Gibson remained not out on 22 off 13 balls in the end. Rashid Khan too contributed 4 runs in 3 balls, in what was his final game of BBL 10.

Adam Zampa bowled exceedingly well and returned with figures of 2/20. He was given the responsibility of bowling the tough overs and he responded with wickets of Carey and Weatherald. Sam Rainbird, Glenn Maxwell and Haris Rauf picked a wicket each but Rauf proved to be too costly in the end, thus shifting the momentum of the game when it mattered the most!

cricket ball icon Liam Hatcher
18.6 Liam Hatcher to Ryan Gibson, IN THE AIR... DROPPED. It was a full delivery outside off stump and Gibson didn't connect with that one how he'd like. It went high up in the air and the fielder did all the hard work to get under it but ended up spilling the chance as the batsman got two to seal the win.

Adelaide Strikers win the game by 5 wickets.
18.5 Liam Hatcher to Ryan Gibson, FOUR! It's an absolute freebie as Hatcher bowls a full toss. Easy pickings for Gibson who finds the gam at deep-mid wicket. Poor delivery under pressure!
18.5 Liam Hatcher to Ryan Gibson, tries to find the full delivery outside off stump but leaves it a little too wide.
18.4 Liam Hatcher to Rashid Khan, shortish delivery and it's the slower one again, hooked away by Rashid towards long on for a run.
18.3 Liam Hatcher to Ryan Gibson, good length delivery, it was the slower ball and Gibson had to wait on it as he played it towards mid-wicket for a single.
18.2 Liam Hatcher to Rashid Khan, full delivery outside off, Rashid gets low and play an unorthodox paddle towards the on side for a single.
18.1 Liam Hatcher to Rashid Khan, full length outside off stump, Rashid throw his bat at it and gets the edge to beat the fielder at third man and get a brace.
Yes, there was a wicket off that over but the runs conceded have hampered Stars' chances quite a bit! Just 12 runs required off as many deliveries!

Liam Hatcher to bowl the penultimate over..

cricket ball icon Haris Rauf
17.6 Haris Rauf to Ryan Gibson, EDGED.. FOUR! Shortish length outside off stump, Gibson hangs his bat outside off stump and gets the edge to beat the fielder at short third man.
Rashid Khan, right-handed batsman, comes out to swing around his blade!
17.5 Haris Rauf to Jonathan Wells, CAUGHT! OUT! That was in the slot again as Wells tries to play it on the off side this time but the pace off it caught the batsman off guard.
17.4 Haris Rauf to Jonathan Wells, SIX! MAXIMUM! In the slot, Wells plays a check shot but it's timed really well to take it over the fence! What a shot that!
17.3 Haris Rauf to Jonathan Wells, short of a length, Wells swings and misses! Dot ball.
17.2 Haris Rauf to Jonathan Wells, FOUR MORE! Full delivery angling into the batsman who just clears his front foot and flicks it away behind square!
17.1 Haris Rauf to Jonathan Wells, FOUR! Low full toss by Haris but it's outside off stump and Wells pierces the gap on the off side. No chance for the fielder in the deep!
