It's a comprehensive victory for the Riders. They posted a strong total on the board and in reply, Gambhir was departed for a duck before Ojha and Ryder fell cheaply as the Legends were reeling at 20-3. No significant contribution came from any batter in the middle order, except Yusuf Pathan, who looked good but couldn't convert his start into a big score.

Irfan was saved for the batting powerplay and he removed both Delport and Yusuf in the same over to help his team inch closer to the finish line The tailenders couldn't handle Emrit and Sunny as the duo picked up two wickets each, and eventually, the Riders get their first win of the campaign
