Nathan Coulter-Nile (Player of the Match, 3/7 off 3 overs): Happy with how I bowled today! Got the ball to land in the right areas, bowled at the right pace and made it move a touch. Can't complain really! Hoping for more of these performances going forward now.

Brett Lee (Australia Champions captain): Pretty clinical win this! Batters were among the runs, bowlers were among the wickets and the fielding was top notch too. So, can't really ask for more! Just have to keep things moving along like this and win some more games, hopefully!

Jacques Kallis (South Africa Champions Captain) - That's what we planned. Well played to Australia as they outplayed us. They didn't mishit too many and credit to them. Few of the boys haven't played too much and to play back-to-back isn't nice but it's funny as well. All the teams are playing back-to-back, so it's fun to watch everyone. The back is not as good as it is used to be

A disappointing batting performance from South Africa when they needed to step up to the plate! The only consolation for them was batting the overs out. Ryan McLaren tried his best to do something about this scorecard and Neil McKenzie pretty hard to get to 33, but otherwise, the batting was very much a disaster!

Australia on the other hand got it spot on with their bowling! Brett Lee started it off with two wickets up front and Nathan Coulter-Nile followed it up with 3 wickets in 3 overs! The spin duo of Xavier Doherty and believe it or not, Ben Dunk, was miserly with the former turning it a mile and accounting for three opposition batters. In the end, even Daniel Christian took a wicket, bowling leg-spin!

Yes the pitch wasn't the easies to bat on as it got slower, but even then, losing by a margin of over 100 runs is a massive, massive let down for Jacques Kallis and his team. As for Australia, they are on the board now with a tremendous net run rate!
