India 161/7 (20 ov)
Australia 150/7 (20 ov)
India won by 11 runs
Player of the match: Yuzvendra Chahal
Right then, that was that from our side, India won the match but questions would be raised towards Skipper Kohli on the selection of the Playing XI! Chahal had a stellar IPL season and he was dropped out of the side. One cannot look at the ODI performances to choose a squad for T20I and the same can be said for Mayank Agarwal! The team management has been bailed out this time but some deep introspection is required if India wants to challenge the T20 World Cup crown next year. Can't have a team selection debacle ruin another world cup for the fans!

Until next time, this is Abhinav Singh and my partner Shashwat Kumar signing off, stay safe, stay indoors and keep washing your hands, fellas! Do switch tabs for the cricketing action never stops on Sportskeeda!
Yuzi Chahal (Man of the Match): It is a great feeling. Suddenly I got to know I had to play. I was mentally prepared to play. 10-15 minutes before the start of the second innings I got to know I was playing. I learnt from my mistakes in Sydney and bowled according to my plans

Aaron Finch (Losing captain): I have a slight niggle and the inury got progressively worse with the match. The discussion was to know what was happening. There is nothing much to read after the medical officials gave the advice. Particularly through the middle overs mark, we didn't hit any boundaries.

Virat Kohli (winning captain): There weren't plans of having Chahal in the squad. Jadeja is still a bit dizzy. Chahal came in and bowled in the right spots. We showed character and squeezed the opposition. I thought they had a great start and they were cruising. But in Australia, you need to keep coming back. The batsman gifted some wickets but we bowled in good areas to get the wickets. T Natarajan with his skillset could be an asset for us. Washington going for 20 runs in 4 overs was also special. Samson brought us back in the match with that catch and Hardik's catch was special as well.
India have beaten Australia by 11 runs

A match that could have never been scripted even by the wildest of fiction writers has finally been brought to fruition! The match turned in the final two overs of India's first innings and in between the change up where India requested for the concussion replacement and got the nod of match referee to avail the services of Yuzvendra Chahal for the remainder of the match!

Australia's innings was off to a flier as Aaron Finch and D'Arcy Short belted Deepak Chahar for three boundaries in the first over itself and the trend continued when India's premier pacer Mohammed Shami was hit all around the Manuka Oval. However, it was the introduction Yuzvendra Chahal that turned the tide in India's favour! Chahal got the big wicket of Aaron Finch in his first over after both openers were given a reprieve in the previous over. In his very next over, Chahal got the wicket of Steve Smith as well, courtesy a stunner of a catch from Sanju Samson!

And suddenly after the wicket, yorker specialist T Natarajan came to the party and so did Deepak Chahar. The SRH bowler finished with figures of 4-0-30-3 and just to make it clear to the reader, it was Natarajan's debut match. Never for a second, he looked unfazed by the big stage! Coming at the death, Natarajan didn't allow the Aussie batsmen to pull off any heist as well. He cleaned up his fellow left-hand pacer Mitchell Starc with a peach of a yorker before Mohammed Shami closed out the game. In the middle overs, it was Washington Sundar who ensured that one end was tightly locked as he remained extremely miser in his four overs spell!

The concussion substitute rule is sure to receive a lot of eyeballs now and one can be assured that tomorrow's headlines in the Aussie newspapers would not be kind to Indians or the match referee! That being said, India played a compact game whereas Australians wilted under pressure! India have won two on the bounce now and will be looking to win the next game in Sydney and bag the T20I trophy to India.
Over: 20 | Summary: 3 1 0 1 6 4 Bowler: Mohd Shami Score: 150/7
19.6 Mohammed Shami to Mitchell Swepson, FOUR MORE! Right in the slot on middle and leg stump and Swepson backs away before crashing that one over extra cover for a boundary! No damage done though as India hold on for their 9th consecutive T20I victory!
19.5 Mohammed Shami to Mitchell Swepson, SIX! Length delivery outside off stump and it gets the treatment it deserves! Swepson sits deep in his crease and muscles it over long off for six! 16 requied off the FINAL BALL
19.4 Mohammed Shami to Sean Abbott, pin point yokrer on off stump. Abbott gets down low and digs the ball out to the sweeper on the cover fence for another single. 22 required off 2 deliveries
19.3 Mohammed Shami to Sean Abbott, SIZZLING! 141.9 kph! top yorker wide of off stump. Abbott backs away and in the end, finds himself a little too far away from the ball as it fizzes through to the keeper! 23 required in 3 balls
RIGHT THEN, Australia now need 4 sixes in 4
19.2 Mohammed Shami to Mitchell Swepson, length delivery outside off stump. Swepson reaches out for it and chalks it down the ground towards long off for just another run
19.1 Mohammed Shami to Sean Abbott, full delivery on off stump. Abbott shapes up for the ramp shot and just about manages to get it over the keeper's head for a couple of runs. Singles, doubles won't do for the Kangaroos. 24 in 5
FINAL 6 DELIVERIES COMING UP! India have this game in the bag, unless some divine intervention takes place for the Aussies. One would reckon Mohammed Shami would wrap up this game rather easily now, despite having a horrid day in the field

Mohammed Shami [3-0-31-0] steams in to bowl the final six. 27 required in the remaining balls!
Over: 19 | Summary: W 0 1 0 6 1 Bowler: T Natarajan Score: 135/7
18.6 T Natarajan to Sean Abbott, low full toss just outside off stump. Abbott gets his bat down in time and drives the ball down the ground towards long off for just another single
18.5 T Natarajan to Sean Abbott, SIX! RIght in the slot on off stump and Abbott clears his front leg before clobbering that one over deep mid wicket for a much needed maximum! Too little too late?
18.4 T Natarajan to Sean Abbott, OH! Length delivery well outside off stump and that is a response to Abbott shaping up for the ramp shot. He still proceeds with his attempt and misses the ball altogether! STREET-SMART NATARAJAN!
18.3 T Natarajan to Mitchell Swepson, full delivery on middle and leg stump. Swepson backs away and powers that one down the ground towards the fielder at long off for a single. These singles won't do for Australia!
18.2 T Natarajan to Mitchell Swepson, excellent yorker outside off stump. Swepson swings at it and is beaten for pace as the ball goes past the outside edge.
IPL's find T Natarajan showing his proficiency with the yorker deliveries. And this is a man who is on his T20I debut! Mitchell Swepson is the new batsman in for Australia!
18.1 T Natarajan to Mitchell Starc, OUT! CLEANS HIM UP! Searing yorker on middle and off stump and Starc simply has no answer for it! In fact, it tails back in a little as well before squirming under Starc's bat and rattling the furniture! Top bowling from the debutatnt!
