You really can't ask for more as a captain than a performance like this. England were tested in the first game but were at their absolute best today. Things are falling into place and once the likes of Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow return, they are bound to wear an even more threatening look. Bangladesh will hope that a change in venue can help them avert a whitewash. They hold a proud record here in this part of the world if the last few years are anything to go by and they wouldn't want to get blanked 3-0, even if the horse has bolted as far as the series is concerned.

Jos Buttler (England captain): We were (emphatic). Fantastic series win to go 2-0 up. Bangladesh are a formidable team at home. We discussed ways to improve from the last game and I think we did that. Jason Roy was outstanding with the bat and we started well with the ball and the bat. We've said before that these are probably the conditions we would find the hardest as a team and to play like this today it was a fantastic achievement. From 1 to 11, everyone stood up. I thought the standards and intensity we played with was higher than the first game and that's what we strive to get to. We've talked a lot about adapting to conditions and being a team that can play in a variety of ways. When we get to Chattogram, we have to assess the conditions quickly and want guys to keep putting their hands up.

Jason Roy is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: Played a lot of cricket in subcontinent, with all the training and today used those skills. Gave myself an opportunity today, first game was rush of blood, today I wanted to make sure I gave myself time and then played through. With Jos coming with the way that he plays, rotating the strike. Moeen and Curran coming in and scoring freely helped us post that total in the end and allowed me to play my natural game.

Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh captain): I think, was a bit disappointed with the way we started with the ball, there was enough for us in the first five overs, we had an opportunity to bring them down, missed the run-out chance and the batters couldn't turn up. When you lose a game like this, you can point a lot of fingers at lot of people, we didn't do well as a team, as simple as that, we didn't click as a team. We lost three wickets early, myself and Shakib gave yourself bit of time but we were chasing a big target, we had to go after but my shot didn't come through. Even when we were three down, Shakib's intent was brilliant, we were after the runs but unfortunately it didn't work out. We will like to finish the series on a high, credit to England.

A comprehensive display across departments from England. From start to finish, they have been at their dominant best and have taken a giant stride towards putting out a threatening outfit to defend their title at the ODI World Cup later this year. The only thing that went wrong for them was the toss, post which Jason Roy, Jos Buttler and a couple of crucial cameos in the lower middle-order powered them to a total well above par.

And it ended even before Bangladesh could think of chasing it down, with Sam Curran finding some movement and ripping that top-order to shreds. It was a display of bowling that showed just why England's fast-bowling strength in white-ball cricket is perhaps the best in the world at this point. Within no time, the hosts were floored to 9/3. with Litton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim failing to get going again and Najmul Hossain Shanto nicking behind first ball. Skipper Tamim Iqbal had veteran Shakib Al Hasan for company as they set things right with an archaic partnership. But with Tamim in particular taking his time, it told on the asking rate.

That was always bound to catch up with Bangladesh at some stage with a few disproportionate risks inevitable. It didn't help that the spinners ran through their overs quickly to up the asking rate even further, forcing Tamim to hole out even as Shakib notched up a solid half-century. Adil Rashid then came on and worked his magic, keeping the batters quiet before forcing an error out of Shakib.

It was another stellar display by the leggie, who became England's third highest wicket-taker in men's ODIs through the course of his four-fer today. His control in length was immaculate and with Moeen Ali complementing him accurately at the other end, the hosts were strangled in knots.

Mahmudullah too, couldn't get going at the kind of rate Bangladesh would have wanted him to and the result reached a territory of no return. One after another, they fell like ninepins before Curran duly returned to finish what he started. Buttler was spot on with his field placements and bowling changes yet again as the visitors have surged to an unassailable series lead. Bangladesh, on the other hand, have been left with more questions than answers, perhaps starting with whether they should have bowled first or not. Maybe we'll have an answer from their skipper with the presentation coming up shortly...

As easy as that! Four wickets for Sam Curran and he poetically finishes what he started earlier this innings. England have absolutely humbled Bangladesh in their own backyard and have coasted to a series win here.

44.4 Sam Curran to Taijul Islam, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! THAT'S IT, IT'S ALL OVER! England annihilate Bangladesh here and take the series 2-0 with one game to go! Back of a length on the fifth stump, Taijul strides out to drive but that straightens to take the feather as Curran finishes with four-for too as England finish a comprehensive victory!

He's a goner here! Not only is he short, but he didn't even land his bat in an attempt to slide it in. Sums up everything that has gone wrong in this game for Bangladesh but how about that for an accurate throw from Moeen Ali! England are just a wicket away now.

44.3 Sam Curran to Taskin Ahmed, RUN-OUT! DIRECT-HIT! Did Taskin make it in time? Back of a length on the fourth stump. Taskin smacked it to Moeen at mid-off and takes off. Moeen darts it into the stumps and the replays confirmed that Taskin doesn't slide his bat in and that costs him his wicket.

44.2 Sam Curran to Taskin Ahmed, OH DEAR! Almost ricochets off to the stumps. Another slower bumper, Taskin went to heave too early, that hits his body and goes past the stumps.

Seemed to come off Taskin's arm really. And indeed - nowhere close to the glove and England burn a review. Not going to hurt at this stage of course.

44.1 Sam Curran to Taskin Ahmed, pace off, was short and angled into Taskin. He backed away to pull but misses, thuds on the body and lobs up as Buttler comes diving forward to pouch it. England review this one. UltraEdge confirms that it has come off the forearm and lobbed up in the air and Taskin stays!

Taijul is just hanging in at one end with Taskin doing the exact opposite and expressing himself. Bangladesh know this is a lost cause they're fighting but they will look to try and drag this as much as they can.
