Chennai Super Kings won by 6 wickets
Player of the match: Ruturaj Gaikwad
That's it for this game! What a match we got to witness as Jadeja walked away with the honours along with Ruturaj Gaikwad! Hard luck for KKR, who will now be looking forward to their clash against RR on Sunday. As we build towards a blockbuster clash between RR and KXIP, we have to bid adieu for now but we will back with more cricketing action tomorrow. Until then, this is Dwijesh along with my colleague Bala, signing off! Good bye and take care!
Ruturaj Gaikwad (Man of the Match) is happy to contribute to a win and is feeling confident as well. He believed in his ability which has helped him come out strong. He also speaks about his bout with COVID-19 although he reckons it has made him tougher. He even boasts of his six-pack while talking about his power-hitting!
MS Dhoni owes the win to his bowlers, who did well in the first innings. He also applauds Jadeja's finishing abilities, which were on show towards the back-end of the innings. Upon being asked about the future, Dhoni wants his players to grab the opportunity that they get in the games, which could help them build for the next season.
Eoin Morgan thinks his team did have a good outing with the bat but were a bit off with the ball. The Englishman praises Nitish Rana for his well-made fifty although he does express his disappointment in coming second best in what was an entertaining contest. He doesn't fault or pinpoint any specific reason for a loss with the KKR captain looking forward to their final league game against RR!
Ravindra Jadeja, you beauty! What a game of cricket we have witnessed at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium! CSK has chased down 173 off the final ball and despite being in the driver's seat for most part of the chase, had to take the longer route in the backend of the innings. They had Ruturaj Gaikwad to thank for the chase, who came up with yet another fifty in a winning cause. He had the likes of Watson and Rayudu compliment him although either of them wasn't able to kick on and hold their nerve. They did face a hiccup in the middle with MS Dhoni unable to score many runs but they had Ravindra Jadeja waiting on the wings to do an MS-Dhoni with two smashing sixes to seal the deal off the final two balls!

The KKR bowling unit was pretty good in their plans and executions except for Lockie Ferguson, who proved to be very expensive for the first time in this tournament. However, they had a few positives with the spinners and Pat Cummins holding their own against a resourceful CSK batting unit. Their lack of a fifth bowler, at least an experienced one, did bite them in the end with Nitish Rana's over at the halfway mark being the turning point in this game.

With this win, KKR is on the verge of elimination as CSK continues to impress without any pressure on their shoulders. This also ensures Mumbai Indians' qualification to the top four!
Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets!
Over: 20 | Summary: 0 2 1 0 6 6 Bowler: Kamlesh Nagarkoti Score: 178/4
19.6 Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Ravindra Jadeja, SIX! Jadeja does it in style! Back of a length delivery from Nagarkoti, Jadeja hangs back and pulls it over the mid-wicket boundary for a maximum!
19.5 Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Ravindra Jadeja, SIX! Jadeja has done it! Gets the line slightly wrong and Jadeja launches it over the mid-wicket boundary for a maximum. It was a matter of inches, and that's all it takes at this level! Scores are level!
19.4 Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Ravindra Jadeja, length ball outside the off-stump angling away from the left-hander, Jadeja has his front leg out of the way and hence can't connect the cut. 7 to win off 2!
19.3 Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Sam Curran, full ball outside the off-stump, goes hard at it but gets it off the under edge to the man at extra cover. 7 to win off 3!
19.2 Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Sam Curran, length ball outside the off-stump, Curran slaps it wide of the man at long-off. Jadeja is lightning between the wickets and he calls Curran through for the second. 8 to win off 4!
19.1 Kamlesh Nagarkoti to Sam Curran, back of a length delivery just outside the off-stump, Curran tries to have a swipe at it but mistimes it back to the bowler. 10 to win off 5 balls!
The equation is simple! CSK needs 10 runs off the final six balls!

The last few overs have completely turned the game towards KKR, for whom Pat Cummins was sensational in the 18th over! Ferguson was a touch wayward which has brought CSK back into the contest. Can Jadeja and Curran complete a heist? Will Nagarkoti keep KKR's hopes alive? HERE WE GO! FINAL OVER COMING UP!

18.6 Lockie Ferguson to Ravindra Jadeja, FOUR! What a turnaround this has been! Length ball outside the off-stump, Jadeja has an almighty swing at it, gets it off the outside edge of the bat to the boundary. The match has turned on its head with that no-ball from Ferguson!
18.5 Lockie Ferguson to Ravindra Jadeja, SIX! Jadeja makes the free hit count! Ferguson pulls the length back and ends up bowling a length ball. It is in the slot and on the leg-stump, Jadeja lofts it over square leg using the extra pace of the bowler for a maximum!
18.5 Lockie Ferguson to Ravindra Jadeja, high full toss from the bowler and it has been called a NO BALL! Jadeja pulls it to deep backward square leg and gets a brace. FREE HIT coming up!
18.4 Lockie Ferguson to Ravindra Jadeja, FOUR! Misses the line and length horribly this time, ends up bowling a knee-high full toss outside the off-stump, Jadeja gets enough touch on it to get it past the man at short fineleg. This is poor bowling from Ferguson!
18.3 Lockie Ferguson to Sam Curran, low full toss almost yorking the batsman, he moves away and jams it out to sweeper cover, but can't get more than a single
