Delhi Bulls won by 5 wickets!

Northern Warriors scored 97 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 10 overs with captain Nicholas Pooran leading from the front with a quickfire knock of 32 runs from just 12 balls. A few other batsmen also contributed a handful of runs but still, the side were around 30-40 runs short. During the first innings, Dwayne Bravo, Waqas Maqsood, and Nyeem Young struck two wickets each which helped Delhi Bulls contain their opponent to a below-par total.

In response, the openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Evin Lewis started on a positive note but couldn't still in the middle for too long as both lost their wickets to Junaid Siddique's bowling. Further, Sherfane Rutherford took the responsibility upon himself and scored 29 runs in just 10 balls. His knock included two boundaries and three sixes. Ravi Bopara also contributed a few runs during the chase but the final talking was done by Tom Abell with an unbeaten 23 off 11 balls which included a couple of boundaries and a maximum.

For the Warriors, Junaid Siddique led the bowling attack with four wickets to his name for 20 runs in his two overs. But, sadly his efforts went in vain as his side ended up on the losing side. The turning point of the match was the two overs bowled by Wayne Parnell who conceded 42 runs in his spell which really proved to be a costly one for the Northern Warriors.
