Salt Pond Breakers win by 36 runs

Complete domination with both the ball and the bat there from them. Chasing 114 runs, Fort Charlotte Strikers were off to a good start as they were able to connect the ball well and dispatched few hits in the stands. A. Samuel and R. Cato gave a flying start to the innings and helped FCS finish on 41/0 after 4 overs. Javid Harry and Jeremey Layne then bowled really well, got the dot balls piling pressure on FCS there and also snapped up quick wickets, leaving the FCS middle order in shambles and FCS ending on 77/5 after playing out their 10 overs

Javid Harry and Jeremey Layne were the picks of the bowlers. They were the wreckers in chief for the opposition and snapped up a wicket and 3 wickets each, sharing 4 wickets among them. They also consistently dished out yorkers and dot deliveries to pile up pressure and pick wickets
9.6 Ricavo Williams to Sylvan Spencer, back of the length outside off and Spencer whacks that over to the long off region on the up and gets a single

SPB have beaten FCS by 36 runs!
9.6 Ricavo Williams to Sealroy Williams, NO BALL! good length outside off and Sealroy lobs it wide of the long off man and gets back for two! Free Hit Time!
9.5 Ricavo Williams to Sylvan Spencer, back of the length outside off and Spencer pulls it down to the mid wicket region for the single
9.4 Ricavo Williams to Sealroy Williams, slower one down the leg side as Sealroy moves around in the crease and plays the pull to square leg
9.3 Ricavo Williams to Sylvan Spencer, fuller outside off and Spencer connects there for a single towards cover
9.2 Ricavo Williams to Sylvan Spencer, good length outside off as the batsman goes for the heave but fails to connect with the bat there! Dot ball!
9.1 Ricavo Williams to Sealroy Williams, full and outside off, Williams slashes hard and lofts it towards sweeper cover for the single
All over for Fort Charlotte Strikers. Johnson dismisses Lavia in the over and gives away only 9 runs in the over. FCS are on 70/5 after 9 overs and need 44 runs in 6 balls
8.6 Delorn Johnson to Sylvan Spencer, SIX! Fuller one from the bowler and Spencer goes for the big heave over long on and clears the ropes with ease! A maximum to end the penultimate over!
8.5 Delorn Johnson to Sylvan Spencer, DOT! quicker one just outside leg and the batsman swings hard but misses out!
8.5 Delorn Johnson to Sylvan Spencer, WIDE! Short and outside off but the ball is called a wide by the umpire for being too high over the shoulder of the batsman!
8.4 Delorn Johnson to Sealroy Williams, full toss at the pads outside leg and the batsmen scamper for the quick single
8.3 Delorn Johnson to Sylvan Spencer, short delivery as Spencer gets off the mark with a risky single after he mistimed his pull shot
8.2 Delorn Johnson to Kirton Lavia, BOWLED HIM! Quick full toss straight at the stumps and Lavia fails to connect and the stumps are castled! Fifth wicket down for FCS! Overpitched delivery from Johnson there, Lavia looked to advance down the track but misses the ball and it bowls him
8.1 Delorn Johnson to Kirton Lavia, slower one at middle and leg as Lavia defends it back to the bowler
Top class over from Layne there. Picks up 2 wickets in the over and dismantles the hopes of a win for FCS from here on. FCS are on 61/4 after 8 overs and need 53 runs in 12 balls. They will need someone like a Johnson  from here on to go beserk and help them achieve the target
7.6 Jeremy Layne to Kirton Lavia, fuller one at the off stump as the new man runs it down to the mid wicket region for the single to end the over
7.5 Jeremy Layne to Kirton Lavia, fulller delivery that takes a brush of the pads and the keeper does well to collect. No run taken!
