Kieron Pollard: I think we got what we wanted. Keacy getting those runs was very important. In hindsight the couple of overs we got just 12 runs. Another 15-20 runs would have been useful but having said that it was a commendable effort to score 100 more in the last 10 overs. Not sure about Martin Guptill. We have to see how it goes. The fans have supported us and we appreciate them for their bowlers. So for us in terms of what we wanted out from this game, we have got that.

Imran Tahir (Guyana Amazon Warriors captain and the Player of the Match): Wicket has been difficult especially when you are bowling second. It's all about experience. Whenever I try to take wickets I use my variations. Look it's always bravery. I believe you have to brave. I didn't want any young bowlers to feel the pressure so took the ball at that point.

It turned out to be a pretty straightforward run chase for the Guyana Amazon Warriors as they defeated the Trinbago Knight Riders in their last group game. They finish at the top of the points table. The Warriors got off to a flying start which they are missing depsite winning consistently. Saim Ayub looked in sensational touch and timed the ball beautifully.

He smashed a 24-ball 37 which included 5 fours and a couple of sixes. Odean Smith who was sent up the order struggled to time the ball after the departure of Ayub. Shai Hope came out with a positive frame of mind and struck some delightful shots en route to a well-deserved half-century. It was Hope and Pretorius who joined hands and took his side over the finish line.
