9:30 pm local time (4:00 pm IST): So, we're done with this exciting game down in Hobart! But you can switch tabs now and join our commentators live, for the ODI between Afghanistan and Bangladesh in Sharjah, right here. This is the pair of Pradeep and Bidipto taking your leave. Keep following Sportskeeda!
Ellyse Perry is the Player of the Match! Here's what she has to say: Really important win for us, I thought the way we held well with the ball with plans was brilliant. Sophie Ecclestone was brilliant, the way we defended our total was awesome. (About Hollie Armitage) She's such a character, she batted really well, not a 100% road, it was stopping and coming through, but she helped really set the tone for us. It's just the feel, context of the game and the conditions. I'm luck to have played on concretes, this was a different pitch and 140 - 150 was a competitive score, could've pushed a bit further. All in all, was a good platform set to get to 155, knowing our bowlers, we thought we could defend. We're up against Stars, it's a big game for us, two in two is the need of the hour for us. Every game's important, when you can jam the close one's, that'll do.
This was a close match but the last bit of action towards the end in the Sixers innings proved to be a difference! The Hurricanes chose not to appeal for a run out of Ellyse Perry which actually was, and a few extra runs got added to the overall score.
However, the Hobart Hurricanes Women kept fighting and never stopped going after runs. They took the innings deep, even with 9 wickets down, but eventually, were not good enough to chase the runs down.
Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Nicola Carey and Elyse Villani tried their best to push things close. Chloe Tryon and Tabatha Saville gave the supporters of purple some hope too. But the regular loss of wickets did not help their cause.
Sophie Ecclestone and young Caoimhe Bray were standout bowlers tonight and Courtney Sippel, who came on to bowl much later, also showed her class towards the back end. Overall fielding from the Sixers was good, barring a couple of blips here and there.
So with this win, the Sixers move up to 4 points and the Hurricanes remain on 4 points. And, the positions in the ladder of 7 and 8, respectively, also stay for both teams! Of course, the Sixers pick up their 19th WBBL win over the Hurricanes out of 21 matches.

19.6 Ashleigh Gardner to Lauren Smith, SIXERS BACK TO WINNING WAYS! Sixers hold their nerve as Ellyse Perry led side with two losses in a row, back with a win. Spears the length delivery on the stumps, Smith knocked it down to long-on for just one.
19.5 Ashleigh Gardner to Lauren Smith, FOUR MORE! Too late from Smith, needed this sometime ago. Short on the middle and leg. Smith pulled it behind square, races away and picks out the ropes.
Well well, two sixes required off two balls!
19.4 Ashleigh Gardner to Lauren Smith, SIX! There comes the first one. Down the wicket for the length delivery, Smith slams it straight down the ground, goes all the way for a maximum.
Three sixes required here!
19.3 Ashleigh Gardner to Zoe Cooke, length delivery on the stumps, Cooke works it to deep square-leg for another single.
19.2 Ashleigh Gardner to Lauren Smith, on a length on the fifth stump, Smith shuffles across off-stump and pulled it to deep square-leg for one.
19.1 Ashleigh Gardner to Lauren Smith, OH DEAR! Healy had no clue, land straight on her and she doesn't realize where the ball was. Good length outside the off-stump, Smith walks across to swipe and might've come of the top edge of the bat.
Ashleigh Gardner [3.0-0-27-1] comes back into the attack.
So the Hurricanes need a lot of boundaries off the final over. Singles and twos won't do. The first three balls hold the key.

18.6 Courtney Sippel to Zoe Cooke, rolls her finger through again, full outside the off-stump. Cooke squeezes it to covers for another dot.
18.5 Courtney Sippel to Zoe Cooke, good length on the stumps, Cooke presses and pushes it back to the bowler.
18.4 Courtney Sippel to Lauren Smith, OH DEAR! Nearly drags it back on. Back of the hand slower one, length delivery on the fourth stump. Smith looking to sweep, but gets an inside edge past leg-stump for a quick single.
18.3 Courtney Sippel to Lauren Smith, back of a length on the fifth stump. Lauren walks right across off-stump to swipe and misses.
18.2 Courtney Sippel to Zoe Cooke, slower one, length delivery on the stumps. Cooke knocked it straight back past the bowler for a tight single. Direct-hit would've been interesting there from Ecclestone.
Zoe Cooke, RHB, is at the crease.
Only one wicket remaining to take now for the Sixers! Sippel gets her first.
