We have the four semi-finalists now with this incredible result tonight. India Champions have made it to the last-4 and still have a shot a defending their title but before that they will need to go past Pakistan Champions in the first semi-final. In the second one, South Africa Champions will square up against Australia Champions and both those matches will be played day after at Edgbaston. For now, time for myself (Sourabh Agrawal) to sign off on behalf of my co-commentator Darpan Tikiya and the entire team. Cheers!
Yuvraj Singh (India Champions captain): "One of our seniors told us a couple of days ago that don't think you're going to qualify, let's play golf. Unbelievable game, it is almost like we won the finals, the way the boys are celebrating. The result was not in our hands but the efforts certainly was. Things did not go well in the first three games for us, to win the toss was important. Stuart (Binny) was outstanding, Shikhar and Robbie got starts but Stuart got us the big innings we needed. Me and Yusuf chipped in. If that was me 10 years ago, it would have gone out of the ground (on his flick shot off the legs)."
Chris Gayle (West Indies Champions captain): "Enough on that wicket, we got a slow start but the wicket was doing a bit. Credit goes to Pollard for getting us to that total, giving us a chance but it was a great game. We wanted a few wickets, we got a few earlier but needed more. We did not bowl our spinner, you would have seen. Season 2 was fantastic, some new players and all teams are pretty strong. Hopefully we will be back stronger in the next season."
Stuart Binny (Player of the Match): "I think I struck the ball well in the last game as well. Yuvi Paa kept on reminding me to keep my shape. When I say "keep my shape", I try to keep my left shoulder in place. Against Bravo's slower balls, it was about waiting on the backfoot and not trying to hit the ball too hard. I worked hard before coming here. Hit about 1000 balls a day in the nets. Had the tennis elbow before this. But I am happy to have done well."

India Champions win by 5 wickets & qualify for the semi-finals
Stuart Binny 50*(21) | Piyush Chawla 3/18(4) Kieron Pollard 74*(43) | Dwayne Smith 2/27(3)
Brilliant scenes out in the middle as Yusuf Pathan runs all the way to the sidelines after hitting the winning six and gives his son a big hug before bringing him into the field. Piyush Chawla has his son in his arms as well and he is chatting around with Kieron Pollard, the families and the kids have invaded the ground and there is dancing going around with Shikhar Dhawan leading the way.
It has been an exceptional run chase from India Champions who have done the unthinkable, they have made the semi-finals after winning just 1 out of the 4 league games.
West Indies Champions needed to win this to get into the semis but they have been knocked out along with hosts England Champions who are the two teams who have made the early exit from the tournament.
India needed to chase down 145 in 14.1 overs or less and they had their task cut out as they came in for the run chase. One thing to their advantage was that they had the equation in their hands which is exactly why Yuvraj Singh had chosen to bowl after winning the toss.
It wasn't the best of starts for India as openers Robin Uthappa and Shikhar Dhawan were both dismissed in the powerplay. The new ball was moving around with the likes of Fidel Edwards and Sheldon Cottrell bowling well which meant that India only got to 48/2 at the end of 6 following which they also lost Gurkeerat Mann and Suresh Raina to be left at 52/4 inside the 8th over. Dwayne Smith picked up a couple of wickets and the required rate going north of 13.
Stuart Binny and Yuvraj Singh, then stitched the vital partnership smashing 66 off just 27 balls with plenty of big hits which saw India came close to the target before Binny then scored his half-century off just 21 balls and a 7-ball 21* cameo from Yusuf Pathan meant that India won in just 13.2 overs.
A lot of credit needs to go to the Indian bowlers who restricted this powerful West Indian batting lineup to just 144/9 in the first innings. It was a heroic effort from Kieron Pollard who scored an unbeaten 74 as a lone warrior taking West Indies to some respectability. Piyush Chawla picked 3 wickets while Stuart Binny and Varun Aaron took 2 each and ensured the the West Indies innings never really got going throughout.
13.2 Dwayne Bravo to Yusuf Pathan, SMOKED OVER COW'S CORNER! Yusuf takes his gloves off, throws his bat away and runs to hug his son in the crowd. India Champions have qualified for the knockouts by just winning one game. Pace-off ball on a good length, angling away to outside off. Yusuf crouched and that helped him get under it. Joyous celebrations all around.
Stuart Binny Scored 50 runs in 21 balls
13.1 Dwayne Bravo to Stuart Binny, FIFTY FOR BINNY! Full ball speared in at the off peg from around the wicket. Binny planted his front foot across before knocking it towards long-on for a single.
Just one hit away now India from claiming their place in the semis, this has been a superb late run. 4 needed and they have 7 balls to score them.

Down to run a ball now, free hit coming up. 8 off 8!
12.6 Fidel Edwards to Yusuf Pathan, misses, but it is a no-ball! Full, wide of off. Yusuf was a fraction late in bringing his bat down.
12.5 Fidel Edwards to Yusuf Pathan, pace-off ball outside off. Yusuf delayed his punch in accordance and managed to cream it into the gap between deep extra cover and long-off. Nikita Miller ran across to get his boot behind it and save the boundary.
PARSURAM SWAIN: "India will qualify for playoffs and play final and defend their title" The first part definitely seems on the cards here, Parsuram.
12.4 Fidel Edwards to Stuart Binny, very full — almost a yorker — outside off. Binny plunged down an open face to squirt it away to deep backward point for a single.
12.4 Fidel Edwards to Yusuf Pathan, AWRY! He went searching for a yorker, missed it completely. Ends up being a full toss down the leg side. Plus, the keeper fumbled to allow another run.
PATHAN POWER! The crowd is absolutely loving this.
12.3 Fidel Edwards to Yusuf Pathan, CLUBBED FOR SIX! Pace-off ball on a fuller length, outside off — near the tram line. Yusuf crouched and swatted it over long-off with brute force.
