Player of the match: Naman Ojha
That's it from the presentation and the final of the Road safety series, we had fun bringing you the live coverage. Stay tuned at Sportskeeda for cricketing action from around the globe. This is the commentary duo of Pradeep and Divyansh, signing off.
Sachin Tendulkar (Captain, India Legends): Every trophy is important, the start wasn't that great today, Naman and Vinay's partnership laid the foundation for us, overall a good performance. I was just sitting inside, we lost Raina and I kind of told, out of the blue, want you to be ready and then Rain got out, right for Vinay to make his way in and it paid off. The way Ojha has batted in both the innings is remarkable, kept well, keeper plays a good role and when keeper starts scoring runs, it rubs off on the bowlers as well. All the bowlers turned up well, I don't want to single out anyone, all of them stood up, the ball kept getting wet, was challenging conditions, worked out whatever was in our control. Always a joy to walk on the green, I expect all the players to give their best on the ground, I want to thank so many players who've turned up, supported us. The message is important at right time, wearing a helmet or seat belts, saves lives, don't wait for things to happen. I've enjoyed, there have been niggles, not the only one and got guys given company, today Yuvi wasn't well, last match I wasn't well but once we're on the field, we give our best.
Tillakaratne Dilshan bags the Player of the Series! Here's what he has to say: I thought it was chaseable, tail enders batted well, top order had clicked then we would've been in the game. When you play big games, unfortunately we weren't good in the field, Ojha batted really well and India took their chances and are deserved winners. It's not easy to play back to back games, some players had niggled, had to come out and play, that's how it is. Enjoyed the tournament, still competitive and feeling like a youngster, looking forward to next series.
Naman Ojha has been adjudged the Player of the Match for his scintillating knock that set up this win for India Legends! Here's what he has to say: This knock is very special, that too in the finals, it'll remain close to my heart for a long time. Actually didn't know, speaking in the nets with Sachin, he said, next two games you player your game and thankfully it worked for me. The plan was to play according to the deliveries, just go with good pace. Sri Lanka are a very good team but that was enough we had on the board. I think two stumpings and a catch is something I'll take anyday. It's a good tournament, good competition and feels good to be part of it. It's always a dream to play alongside Sachin paaji and Yuvi paaji.
Match Summary:

India Legends won by 33 runs

Sri Lanka Legends: 162/10 (18.5)
Ishan Jayaratne 51 (22) | Mahela Udawatte 26 (19)
Vinay Kumar 3/38 (3.5) | Abhimanyu Mithun 2/ 27 (4)

A comfortable win in the end for India, good decision by Tendulkar to bat first and put the scoreboard pressure on Sri lanka, which they did.
Sr Lanka needed a good start if they wanted to have any chance of chasing this down, but they never got going really. The run rate kept going up and they kept losing wickets.

They stumbled their way to 85/6 in the 13th over, India did well with Tendulkar changing his bowlers and everyone getting atleast a wicket.
the 7th wicket partnership between Udawatte and Jayaratne gave Sri Lanka some hope in the end, but Mithun came in and broke the partnership and also gut Udana in the same over. Then Vinay Kumar came in and cleaned them out in the next over.

An all round performance by India in all departments, barring a few dropped catches, Ojha being involved in almost everything, and the dew becoming a factor but the bowlers did well to bowl with the slippery ball.
