That is all from us here at Sportskeeda, it has been a real pleasure to cover this fascinating contest and we now await the start of the pink ball Test. Till then, stay tuned to Sportskeeda for all live action from across the globe
Ravichandran Ashwin (Man of the Match) : This wicket is very different to the first wicket. I thought it was the mind that was getting the wickets and not as much the pitch, because the ones doing too much did not get the rewards. Keeping the intent while batting was important, if you let them dictate it is going to be different. The first few I connected gave me the hang of the wicket. I try very hard and if it was not going well I try harder, the innings at Sydney has set the tone for me and I am happy to take the hundred at Chennai. Every sort of load gives a different result when I am bowling, if I want to change things up I change things in my load up. I am confident to explore new things when I am bowling. Thankful to the crowd I felt like a hero with the support I got and having watched a lot of matches from the stands and dreaming of playing here it was a surreal feeling to do this in front of them
Virat Kohli: Look it was a bit strange in the first game without the crowd in the stands, myself included did not pick up the energy. I think from the second innings from the last game we showed real energy. This game was a show of grit and determination and the crowd has helped, the Chennai crowd are really intelligent. To bowl in this heat you need people motivating you. It is a perfect game indeed, the application with the bat was outstanding. The conditions were challenging but we stuck in and trusted our defence and if we do that we know our bowlers can be dangerous in these conditions. The toss would not have mattered because we have applied well even in the third innings.  Pant was outstanding, he is moving really well. He worked a lot in Australia, shed some weight and he is lighter on his feet so credit to him. It is a special moment for Axar, he was keen to step on the field. As a left arm spinner with his pace it was going to be great. I take a lot of pride in correcting stuff quickly, that partnership with Ashwin was important for us. It is going to be challenging this side has quality and we expect no easy cricket. I think the energy and intensity will be up there with the crowd on out side.
Joe Root (England captain) : I think credit has to go to India. They have outplayed us in all three department. We need to learn from this and we have to find ways to score more freely. It was a challenging wicket from Day 2 onward and we have to be smart in ways to find out how to score in these conditions. Maybe you could look at a different balance going forward but it is always easier to look at it after it is over. Moeen got better with the ball and we all know how destructive he can be with the bat. Ben Foakes batted extremely well in the first innings and his keeping was outstanding as well. We have to stay level and we have to learn out lessons and hopefully we can take that into the next game. It will be very different and we have only played two pink ball games ( On the pink ball game). Looking forward to that and it is exciting times.
What an outstanding comeback it has been from the Indian side, right from the word go in this Test match. They looked like they were hurt from the result in the first Test and have bounced back to produce a performance that we have come to expect from this side at home.

Lots of talk around the pitch but we have seen some batting masterclasses from the Indian batsmen. Kohli won a very crucial toss and India were three down at the stroke of lunch on day 1 and were in a real spot of bother. Rohit Sharma then in the company of Rahane put on a show for the crowd at Chepauk to take India to a total of 329.

Ashwin then ran through the England line-up to pick up five wicket to wrap it up for just 134. India then came onto bat in the second innings and it was the Ashwin show. A show for the crowd at Chepauk from their local hero.

India then set a massive target for England of 481 and that was close to impossible to get on this wicket. Then the Indian bowlers went about their job in fine fashion. They got three wickets overnight and had to take 7 more to wrap this Test match up heading into Day 4. Axar registered a five wicket haul on debut and Ashwin and Kuldeep chipped in as well to register the famous win

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony as we hear from the captains and also find out who the man of the match is.
54.2 Kuldeep Yadav to Moeen Ali, OUT! KULDEEP WITH THE DEATH KNELL! Tossed up on a length well outside off stump. Kuldeep marches down the track but is nowhere close to the pitch of the ball. Couple of carrom balls to finish that over from Ashwin but Moeen Ali is putting on a show here for the fans who have had very little of boundaries to celebrate all day.

Moeen has raced off to 39 off just 16 balls!
