That is all from us here at Sportskeeda from the third T20I, stay tuned for cricketing action from all across the globe. Until then, stay safe and take care. Good night !
Jos Buttler( Man of the match): It was nice to spend time in the middle and I like to be there at the end to finish the game. It just felt like a good time to attack and I wanted to chance my arm against Chahal. It is satisfying, the first six off Chahal got me up and running in that innings and it helped us get the powerplay in our favour, which set the game up. Just told Eoin, what a special milestone playing 100 games is and he has taken our white ball fortunes to a completely different level, just got that across to him
Eoin Morgan (England captain): When you look at conditions, the pace of Wood and Archer play a big role. I thought the first half of our bowling was exceptional. I think the wicket played similar throughout the game but there is an added challenge to set a target, shows you how strong sides have to be win a World T20 . Jos is a world-class player, you do not need to talk much to him and there is very little you have to say to him. We are lucky to have him. It was a great moment for me and Jos's words warmed my heart.
Virat Kohli (India captain) :  You don't want to play knocks that does not help the team, it was a bit tacky to start with and bowler's were getting a lot of assistance early on. We needed partnerships but we got only two of them, you needed to take your time early on in this track. I was going through a bad patch as well, he (KL Rahul) will continue to be our top batters alongside Rohit. The toss is important, we would have liked to bowl first but we have to embrace that challenge. The England bowlers bowled extremely well with the new ball and their pace means they get a lot more from the surface when the ball is new. We want to give Hardik , a little more responsibility with the bowl but we will be open to changes according to wickets (On the 5 bowler strategy)
A completely dominant run chase from England, lead by a special show from Jos Buttler. They go ahead 2-1 in this 5 match series. India did not have enough on the board despite that masterclass from Kohli at the end.

England got off to a steady start but Buttler soon shifted gears and kept taking his chances to keep England in control of the required rate. Then it was all catch-up for India. The result of this game was known some time back and that shows the kind of impact Buttler set for England right away in the power-play where the game was lost.

Toss seems to be having a major impact on the outcome of the games as far as this series is considered. The wicket definitely seems to be much more favourable to teams batting second and that has made it tough for teams losing the toss. That said India have to keep a check on their tactics because you cannot ride your fortune on the toss.

Got to give a lot of credit to Mark Wood and the England bowlers though, this game was virtually won by England during the powerplay in the India innings and if you lose three wickets in the PP, you are always catching up in the contest.

The positives from this contest for India though will be the bowling of Bhuvneshwar, he seems to have found his mojo back with the ball and is getting it to move both ways

Stay tuned for the post match-presentation that will happen very shortly
18.2 Shardul Thakur to Jonny Bairstow, FOUR! AND THAT WILL BE THAT! Dug into the track way outside off stump. Bairstow jumps up on his toes and slaps that one over backward point for four
18.1 Shardul Thakur to Jonny Bairstow, FOUR! Banged into the track outside off stump and that sits up to be hit! Bairstow gets onto the back foot and tonks that over mid wicket for four
Nothing to talk about in terms of action in that over apart from that outrageous ramp from Jonny Bairstow, England crawling through to the target now and with just 7 needed this could well be the last over of the contest. Shardul Thakur to bowl the 19th!

9 runs coming off that Shardul over, England need less than a run a ball now. Last rites being done now in this contest, Bairstow and Buttler seems to be in no hurry here to finish this one. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been brought back onto bowl his final over!
