IND won by 62 runs.
Player of the match: Ishan Kishan

Well, then. With that handsome victory, India lead the three-match T20I series 1-0. The action moves from Lucknow to the chilly, scenic stadium in Dharamsala. Can Sri Lanka make a comeback? Or will India take an unassailable lead? Tune in right here on  Saturday to find out how that plays out.

Thanks for joining us today. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. This is Bala and Shashwat Kumar signing off. Good night!
Ishan Kishan (Player of the Match): I got to learn a lot from the last three matches. I was not so positive, intent was not good enough. Today, I planned to just watch the ball and play my shots. Pull is my favourite shot. Was waiting for the ball to come. They love to bowl short balls. I was waiting for that. (On bigger grounds) It's positive for the batting team also. With the World Cup in Australia, you need to get used to these conditons. There will be a lot of two's coming in. The bowlers will also be under pressure.
Rohit Sharma (captain, India): (On Ishan Kishan turning it around) When you play the kind of sport, these things are bound to happen. I know him for a long time now. I know his mindset and ability. It's just about playing the kind of knock that he played today. Very pleasing to watch. he constructed that innings well, especially after the first six overs. It's a challenge for him, as likes to play a lot of shots. It's not just about hitting, you need to push the balls in the gap, go for twos, threes. It was aout finding those gaps. (Ravindra Jadeja) Absolutely, very happy (with his performance). We want more from him. You will see that happening more and more (Jadeja batting higher). I want him to bat up the order. We have seen in the last few overs how good a cricketer he is. We are very clear with what we want to achieve from him. We will try and see if we can promote him. I love playing on big grounds. That's wehere you are tested as a batsman as well. Coming from Culcutta, you time and it's a six. But out here your, batsmanship is tested. It's something that is just happening. We are dropping the lollies, It's not expected at this level. Our fielding coach has some work to do. Come Australia, we want to be the best fielding side. We can't afford to keep doing this.
Dasun Shanaka (captain, Sri Lanka): We were really poor on all three depts. Losing front line bowlers can't be easy. They batted beautifully and read the conditions really well. We are out of two main bowlers, Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga. We have brought replacements, but they haven't got the experience yet. (Charith Asalanka) Probably he will carry the good form to the next two games. (Dushmantha Chameera) He is bowling beautifully. But the situation doesn't allow me to bowl him throughout (the innings).
India win by 62 runs!

Sri Lanka 137/6 in 20 overs | Charith Asalanka 53*(47), Dushmantha Chameera 24*(14) | Bhuvneshwar Kumar 2/9 (2), Venkatesh Iyer 2/36 (3)

What a commanding display by the Indian side that was! Right from the wicket off the first delivery, they never allowed Sri Lanka to gain any sort of momentum. They were on the charge right from the outset and completed a clinical victory. That's as dominating a win as you would hope to see.

Sri Lanka were never really in the chase. After losing Pathum Nissanka off the first delivery, the batters struggled to get going. They scored just 29 runs in the powerplay and lost both openers. That's the worst possible start when you require to chase down 10 runs an over.

Charith Asalanka, after an early reprieve, played a sort of lone hand. But he got little support from the other end. The wickets continued to tumble till the end. Chamika Karunaratne and Dushmantha Chameera played cameos at the end but the match had been out of their hands by then.

It was a brilliant display by the Indian bowlers. After the initial burst by the experienced duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah, the spinners came in and tied up the opposition. Both Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja picked up a wicket each and bowled economically, conceding just 39 runs in 7 overs between them.
