Alright. India are set to meet Australia in the semi-finals, the toughest opponent there is and with a lot of holes to plug, India need to come good if they are to stand any chance of beating the mighty Aussies in that all important crunch game. Harmanpreet Kaur, India's captain: It is always nice when Smriti gets runs for us, so very happy to see her do that today. Whenever she gets runs for us, we convert it into a big total. I wanted to spend some time in the middle, so promoted myself up the order. It feels nice to have qualified for the semis, we have been working hard from a long time. All of this is coming to fruition now. We are excited to take Australia on in the semis!

Laura Delany, Ireland's captain: It was disappointing for sure, but am glad with the way the girls performed throughout the tournament. Beating Australia in the warmup game was a real highlight for us, and we will take a lot of confidence from that. Cricket Ireland has invested a lot on us, and we are trying to give something back to them. We take a lot of learnings from this tournament, unfortunate that it had to end this way.

Smriti Mandhana is the Player of the Match! Here's what she has to say: Yes, the finger is good. One of the toughest I would've played in terms of the pace, how they were bowling, we had discussed that we're not going to get much pace and with the wind, it gotten a little tough and it was really hard work in the first 30 balls, later I found my groove. (Chat with Shafali in the middle) We both were trying to tell each other, try and be in good shape, I was bad initially and then Shafali wasn't even timing the ball and we were not used to the pace of the pitch as well and once we started hitting well, it went fine. Not the perfect preparation going into semis, we've done amazingly well from the first game but England's game we learnt a lot of lessons.

It was the rain that had the final say in this game, as Ireland were beaten by India by a mere 5 runs. The drizzle just did not stop and we eventually ran out of time. Ireland will be extremely disappointed with themselves for having fallen short via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method.

Laura Delany and Gaby Lewis, coming together after the dismissal of Amy Hunter and Orla Prendergast in the first over of this innings, scored at a rapid pace. They were well on course for their first win in this tournament, if not for the rain to play spoilsport.

Their skipper Delany will be extremely disappointed and crestfallen by the margin that they have fallen short by. Earlier in the day, Smriti Mandhana rode her luck to get to her highest score in WT20Is, but departed 13 runs short of her century.

She did not quite get a lot of support from the other end, and this meant that India, on one occasion posed to get to 170 or 180, ended up with just 155 on the board. Overall, India will be happy with their performance, although Harmanpreet Kaur and the other batters would have hoped for a better outing with the bat in hand.

Update 9:42 PM IST: Bad news, folks! The game has been called off. India have won the game by 5 runs and are through to the semi-finals!

Update 9:30 PM IST: The cut off time here in Gqeberha is 6:33 PM local time, which translates to 10:03 PM Indian Standard Time. We should get to know something definite till then.

There's nothing official from the ground yet but we will start to lose overs in a few mins.

Ireland were brilliant to recover from the early blow. Given how the situation they find themselves a bit unlucky here as Lewis went on to take the attack to the opposition and they are just five runs behind from the DLS par score.
