Jemimah Rodrigues has been adjudged the player of the match. Here's what she has to say: My mind set is simple, just go out there and score and the team will be in a better space, end goal is to put team in a better position. Main thing was, we had lost the momentum, we thought let's stay positive and tried to hit some boundaries, gave myself some deliveries initially but then tried to take on the attack. (About that partnership with Deepti Sharma) We've always had good partnerships right from the CWG, we gell well and we take every game seriously, we want to do well.

Smriti Mandhana (Captain, India): They bowled really well in the powerplay, Jemi and Deepti got us back in the game, they played really well. The middle order of UAE batted well, one drop catch otherwise, they hung around and didn't gift their wickets, the plan worked for us as far as the bowling is concerned. The idea was to get our batters to spend time on the middle, that happened with Pakistan and Bangladesh coming up next.

Chaya Mughal (Captain, UAE): Lot of positives in the game, the way we bowled in the first 10 overs and definitely we will work on some of the areas, we've made note of them and will correct it in future. When you get a good start, the first 10 overs were really good, India came back strongly as expected. We've got good openers, didn't work out today for them but the middle order stayed on the wicket, it's a positive that'll take out

A commanding performance from Indian women as they outplayed UAE Women and secured a thumping win. UAE had their moments only for just 15 mins in this contest when they reduced India to 19-3 but once Deepti and Jemimah shifted gears they hardly found any answers. Eventually, it turned out to be a one-sided tussle.

It's always going to be a daunting task for UAE Women to chase this imposing target, and as expected, they lost wickets up front, but the partnership between Kavisha and Khushi was one of the few positives that Mughal can take from this match. The Indian bowlers found it very hard to break the defences of Kavisha and Khushi as they stitched together a 50-run partnership but they struggled to score at a good rate

In the end, it turned out to be smooth sailing for Indian Women as they go to the top of the table after this victory by a huge margin
