Player of the match: Dane Cleaver
Right then. New Zealand were all over Ireland in the T20 series and eventually sealed the series with a game to play. As Mitch Santner said in the presentation, there is not a lot that Bracewell can't do at the moment in all formats as he took a hat-trick out of nowhere. Ireland need to work on his batting before the final match if they are to stand a chance of beating New Zealand for the first time in this tour.

Let's see what happens in the final T20I on Friday, until then, this is Pragadeesh signing off on behalf of my fellow colleague Rajarshi. Goodnight!
Mitchell Santner: The wicket looked good in the first innings and looked up and down in the second. It's not anything that he can't do at the moment in all formats (On Michael Bracewell's hat-trick). It's a special effort. It's going to be a different wicket, similar to the first one I think. I am happy with today's win and let's see how the boys respond in the next one
Andy Balbirine: Yeah it is T20 cricket. We were really not in the game after 50-7 at one stage and we have to move on. They batted rreally well. Cleaver batted very well and swings the momentum in New Zealand's favour. The batting let us down The beauty is we get enough opportunities and last week we came pretty close in the ODI formats but we can't do the same in the T20's. We have one more crack at it. I think we have a lot of good teams coming here leading up to the T20 World cup and we have to keep improving day in and day out
Dane Cleaver, Player Of The Match: It was a pretty special day, always good to contribute to a win for the country. The wicket offered a bit of variation, it wasn't the most fluent of innings from me, but I stuck to my options and it paid off. It is very special to have my family here, in beautiful Ireland. It's a great feeling, there's nothing more I wanted than to play for my country my entire life.
Dane Cleaver is the Player of The Match
New Zealand beat Ireland by 88 runs
Dane Cleaver 78(55) | Mark Adair 27(22)
Michael Bracewell 3-5(0.5) | Joshua Little 2-31(4)

It's a thumping victory for the visitors. No one really expected this batting effort from the Irish outfit after how close they came in the ODI's to taste success. Paul Stirling smacked Santner for a six and a boundary in the first over but a dismal batting performance transpired after a few minutes. Jacob Duffy ran through the top order before the Irish batters got deceived by Ish Sodhi's flight and variations in the middle overs.

Sodhi got three wickets to his name and Ireland were reeling at 54-7 before Mark Adair entertained the crowd with a couple of boundaries and a maximum. Mitch Santner threw the ball to the hero of this tour Michael Bracewell and he dismissed the remaining three batters in the same over to get his first ever T20 hat-trick. Stay tuned for the presentations
Can you believe it? Three wickets fell in a blink of an eye and Michael Bracewell registers his T20 hat-trick in his very first over in the format. New Zealand win the series with a game in hand, while Ireland suffered huge defeat and this match turned out to be a one-sided tussle eventually
13.5 Michael Bracewell to Craig Young, OUT, Caught! Bracewell has a T20I Hat-trick in the first over he bowls in T20I cricket!!! Craig Young did not need to do anything to that delivery, it was pitched wide outside off stump, was short-ish in nature too, but Young tries to play the cut off the front foot, the ball ends up bobbling up towards short third, where Ish Sodhi completes the catch, much to the delight of everyone on the field! And with that, New Zealand seal the T20I series with a game to play, they triumph by a mammoth margin of 88 runs!

Craig Young c Sodhi b Bracewell 0 (1b 0x4 0x6)
Joshua Little, RHB, walks in at no.11

Hat-trick ball coming up
13.4 Michael Bracewell to Barry McCarthy, OUT, Caught! Did someone rewind to the previous ball? An exact carbon copy of the previous dismissal, McCarthy gets on one knee and tries to clear the ropes at deep mid-wicket, he gets the connection just about right, but....the distance was not there, and Glenn Phillips completes a second catch!

Barry McCarthy c Glenn Phillips b Michael Bracewell 11 (8b 2x4)
Craig Young, RHB, walks in at no.10

Adair's nice cameo comes to an end
13.3 Michael Bracewell to Mark Adair, OUT, Caught! Adair finds the man at deep mid-wicket! Goes down the pitch, tries to clear the long-pocket at deep mid-wicket, falls just short of the line as the fielder stationed there completes the catch without having to move an inch!

Mark Adair c Glenn Phillips b Michael Bracewell 27 (22b 4x4 1x6)
13.2 Michael Bracewell to Barry McCarthy, places this one to deep mid-wicket and gets the single
13.1 Michael Bracewell to Barry McCarthy, FOUR, in the slot, McCarthy has a big swing, and tell you what, he has got enough contact for the ball to race to the mid-wicket fence!
Michael Bracewell, right arm off break, comes into the attack

A boundary to end the over and Neesham doesn't look pleased with the effort

12.6 James Neesham to Mark Adair, FOUR, Adair tries to place this in the gap at backward square, a muddle-up between the fielders there allows the ball to sneak through to the fence!
12.5 James Neesham to Mark Adair, swing and a miss as Adair tried to fetch this one from outside off!
12.4 James Neesham to Mark Adair, Adair places this to third man, McCarthy was halfway down before Adair uttered, "no run!" Thankfully, Duffy fumbled the ball, allowing McCarthy to get back in
12.3 James Neesham to Barry McCarthy, just a single to mid-wicket
