That's it then, folks. A good campaign from the Mystics comes to an end. Padikkal would have a lot to learn from it and the team would take a ton of good memories from the campaign. The Blasters have turned their fortunes around and are now staring right in the eyes at their first title. A good break for them before the big final in a couple of days. Mayank Agarwal (Bengaluru Blasters captain): It was a clinical performance. For our bowlers to come back like that after the first two was phenomenal. To be honest, we were under the pump after the first two overs but for Mohsin to come and stick to his plans and Lavish's two wickets changed the game for us. The situations he's winning for us are very, very good. We paid a little bit of premium for him but he's delivering for us. It's more about mentally preparing for the game and turning up physically. Big, big turnaround for us. A lot of credit needs to go to the think tank. Performances on the field are always highlighted but there's a lot that goes behind the scenes. We spent 4-5 hours for so many days to prepare for the auction and create a good environment.

A dominating performance from the Blasters who have outclassed a really strong opponent, showing that they are not here to challenge but to snatch that title. They go into the final with a wave of momentum behind them, all but overcoming the disastrous last season.

As for the Mystics, they wanted to put scoreboard pressure on the opponent and see batting first as an opportunity. However, that's always a double edged sword because if you don't score enough then the opponent can time the chase like a walk in the park without any pressure.

It's not like the Mystics didn't want to win it enough but they just seemed carried away in the first innings with a lot of false shots going to hand. Chethan survived two close calls in the first over but went on to win the game with a surreal knock.

With the Mystics not testing them with spin early on, Chethan just got a free hand. Mayank supported him brilliantly at the other end with good strike rotation and the occasional big shot.

Only Bhatkal seemed up for it and maintained a good economy rate till the end and was rewarded with Mayank's late wicket. But others giving too much width and bad lengths meant that the wicket meant nothing as Chethan Raju finished things off with an over to spare.
