La Soufriere Hikers won this match by 7 wickets!

What a nail-biting contest, in the end, this turned out to be. The question at the halfway stage of this match was will Strikers manage to make this into a low scoring thriller and they definitely just did that. In the end, they managed to drag this match into the final over of the match and lost this match by just 3 balls.

Hikers batsmen probably have themselves to blame here as they almost repeated the same mistake as the Fort Charlotte Strikers batsmen did by not rotating the strike early on.

Salvan Browne and Dillon Douglas just started to get things moving but unfortunately in lost their wickets in doing so and the game in the end just came down the wire.

Othneil Lewis who came to bat when 7 runs were need of the last over just realized all the pressure off by smashing a gigantic six and sealing it off for his side with 3 balls to spare.

Quite an interesting day 2 out here in Vincy Premier League as the first match offered a boundary fest and a high scoring match. The second quite the contrary to the first turned out to be a low scoring thiller and it looked the plays were just playing on a different surface all of a sudden.

That's it for this game everyone!! We hope that you enjoyed this live coverage between La Soufriere Hikers and Fort Charlotte Strikers. Stay tuned on Sportskeeda for all the live cricketing updates from around the world. This is Navjeevan Rajput and alongside me, Pradeep Somashekar signing off till then take care and stay safe!!
9.3 Sealroy Williams to Othneil Lewis, quicker delivery, touch short, Lewis gently taps it on the off-side towards backward point region and they scamper for a single and sealed the game for Hikers in the end! What a nail-biting finish we've witnessed and turned out to be a low scoring thriller but Hikers held their nerve and crossed the line in the end!
9.2 Sealroy Williams to Othneil Lewis, quicker, banged it in short, Lewis looked to hoick at it and is beaten in the end
9.1 Sealroy Williams to Othneil Lewis, SIX! WHAT A SHOT! Quicker delivery, it was full in the slot and Lewis stands back and literally CLOBBERED it all the way for a maximum over the cow corner boundary, goes all the way, that shot probably has sealed the game for the team. SCORES ARE TIED!
At the end of the 9th over LSH are 49/3.

Still, 7 runs needed off the last 6 balls
FCS have managed to drag this match into the final over of the proceedings! Who is it from here? Will FCS managed to pull off a miracle here? Or will someone from LSH get this chase down with?
8.6 Chelson Stowe to Kavem Hodge, full delivery, in the blockhole on the 4th stump line, Hodge fails to dig it out past the bowler, no run in the end. Turning out to be a nail biter in this low scoring encounter!
8.5 Chelson Stowe to Kavem Hodge, slower one, outside off, Hodge fails to clear the gap and hits it straight to the point, no run
8.4 Chelson Stowe to Othneil Lewis, full delivery, in the blockhole on the 4th stump line, Lewis jammed it on the ground and the ball goes towards and they scamper for a quick single
8.3 Chelson Stowe to Kavem Hodge, it was on the good length, angled into Hodge who swatted it towards long-on and they scamper for a quick single! down the 8 runs off 9 balls now!!
8.2 Chelson Stowe to Kavem Hodge, back of a length, angled into Hodge, cramping him for some room, Hodge looked to guide it fine but ends up hitting to the short third man fielder, no run! Crucial dot ball this 9 needed off 10 now!
8.1 Chelson Stowe to Kavem Hodge, FOUR! Full delivery, into the pads and Hodge whipped it away towards vacant deep square leg boundary, that races away to the boundary in no time and the score is now down the 9 off 11 now!
At the end of the LSH are 43/3.

A twist in the tale? After Douglas in the 7th over, Browne bowl departs to just at the end of the previous over. FCS definitely have a fair chance here, two new batsmen at the crease now and LSH still need 13 runs off 12 balls!! LSH batsmen probably leaving too much to do towards the end here!
7.6 Sealroy Williams to Salvan Browne, OUT! Tossed up, it was on the good length, it spun into the batsman, Browne dances down the track and looked to launch it over the boundary but misses it, that rattles the stumps in the end.
7.5 Sealroy Williams to Salvan Browne, on the good length, quicker delivery, Browne on the front foot nudges it on the on-side, no run
7.4 Sealroy Williams to Kavem Hodge, quicker and flatter on the leg stump, Hodge looked to flick and once again misses, hits it on the pads and they take off for a quick leg bye
7.3 Sealroy Williams to Kavem Hodge, another quicker one, Hodge looks to flick it and hits it towards fine leg fielder, no run
7.2 Sealroy Williams to Kavem Hodge, quicker delivery, angled into Hodge who got stuck in crease and raps on the pads, huge appeal and Umpire rejects it
7.1 Sealroy Williams to Salvan Browne, tossed up, it was full in the blockhole, Browne drills it down the ground towards long-on for a single
At the end of the 7th over LSH are 41/2.

A great over for the batting side, Browne and Douglas shifted gears and attacked Nigel. They socred 11 runs off that over and had completely got the innings under control. But unfortunately, Douglas decided to get too greedy as he chipped one straight to the fielder in the deep which was clearly not required. LSH now need 15 runs in 18 balls!
6.6 Nigel Small to Dillon Douglas, OUT! Tossed up, it was full, Douglas looked to launch it over the long-on fielder trying to get to the pitch of the ball, but ends up hitting straight to the long-on fielder's throat, Douglas has to go!
