The Gladiators register a thumping victory and take 4 points out of this match. The writing was on the wall after the put on a massive score of 149 on the board. Though, their poor start with the ball ignited the hopes of an unlikely chase.

The first two overs produced 33 runs including 20 that came via extras. However, once the bowlers tightened their lines up, the Lions struggled to put them away. The intent was pretty much there. They kept on swinging their blades with might and optimism but did not send as many balls to the boundary as they would have liked.
