Scorecard
Heat have done a phenomenal job today, grabbing all the points, which takes them up to the fourth position in the table. One game remains for them, which will also be a must win game in order to qualify. Switch tabs meanwhile, for another cracking contest between the Melbourne Stars and the Perth Scorchers, as the qualification race goes down the wire. That's all from this game, as I, Ankit Sharma along with Pradeep Somashekar take your leave.
Harper kept going from one end, but fell playing against the spin of the part timer Labuschagne. From there, no one could get going, with the pressure of scoring runs mounting on them. Harvey Mackenzie, the hero of the previous match too could not go big, who was caught at mid off by a stunner. Prestwidge gave a slight scare at the back end of the innings, but it the runs required were too many. The remaining wickets fell like dominoes, one after the other, and finally in the penultimate over the Renegades tumbled over and were bowled out.
Heat have overcome the hurdle of Renegades quite comfortably, winning the game by 26 runs at the end. They started off the innings brilliantly getting Finch out cheaply. Harper and Marsh did set the stage for themselves getting some big overs on the trot, but only till Marsh mistiming a shot and being caught. Harper kept going on the other end, but alone he could not continue forever. Fraser-McGurk, couldn't score big, he kept Harper company but could not stay long too.
Evans is the last wicket to fall, gets a thick edge and is caught at gully by Lynn. Heat have done a great job to come out on top against the Renegades who came to spoil the party for them, having being already knocked out. But Heat made sure that does not happen. Heat get all the points on offer and move up the table.
18.4 Mark Steketee to Zack Evans, OUT! CAUGHT! ALL OVER! As Evans dances down the track and goes for the slash and slices this one straight to short third-man fielder as Renegades are bowled out. Heat win this by 26 runs!

Slower delivery, outside off as Evans skips down the track and throws his bat at it and slices that one straight to the short third-man fielder's throat and Heat have knocked over the Renegades in the end!
18.3 Mark Steketee to Zack Evans, SIX! BANG! Evans is not giving up as he SMOKED that full delivery on the pads to the deep square leg boundary for a maximum, mighty hit from the lower order batsman!
18.2 Mark Steketee to Zack Evans, back of a length on the middle and leg as Evans on the backfoot taps it back to the bowler, no run
Peter Hatzoglou, right hand bat, comes to the crease.
18.1 Mark Steketee to Jack Prestwidge, OUT! CAUGHT! Renegades falling like nine pins here as Prestwidge went for the hoick and he's holed out at deep mid-wicket as well! Back of a length into Prestwidge as he went for the hoick and skies it million a mile and no distance at all as the deep mid-wicket fielder runs across the fence to hold on to it in the end!
Zak Evans, right hand bat, comes to the crease.
Swepson gets a wicket of his final delivery, gets rid of Lalor who attempted to go big against the spin but could not get all on it, and is caught at the boundary ropes. 33 runs needed in 12 deliveries.
