Throughout the tournament, we got good wickets, really happy with how it went out and looking forward for tomorrow. Hardik bowled well in the tournament, someone to watch out for in the future, excited for him. Everyone stood up to the challenge today, Samarth played well, gave good company. This game seemed to be hanging in the balance up till Macneil Noronha and Abul Hasan Khalid were batting together but once the former departed, it started getting tougher for Gulbarga Mystics.

Khalid batted well to bring up his half-century, but he too was scalped by leg spinner Kushal Wadhwani soon and had to depart. The Mystics got off to a good start owing to their openers LR Chethan and KV Aneesh's fearless batting but there was a slight lull in between.

However, Noronha walked out to bat and made sure that the tempo did not go down at all. At one point, it seemed as if the momentum was with Gulbarga and that Mysore had to battle out of their skins to win this game.

Nonetheless, with the fall of wickets at regular intervals, Mysore made sure that they won this game by a rather comfortable margin in the end. 249 is an extremely steep total to chase in Twenty20 cricket, and one has to doff their hat to Gulbarga for the way they tried to have a go at it.

Mysore will be extremely proud of the way their bowlers brought them back into the game, especially Jagadeesha Suchith, whose two wickets in the early overs helped them gain some momentum. Kushal Wadhwani, Monish Reddy and Gautam Mishra too chipped in.

This win, however, deserves solely to Mysore skipper Karun Nair, who stroked a brilliant century earlier in the day to set this win up for his team. However, they will celebrate as a unit and prepare for the final tomorrow, in which they will take on the Hubli Tigers.

That will be that! The defending champions of the Maharaja Trophy, Gulbarga Mystics, have been knocked out of the tournament by Mysore Warriors in the semifinal! Mysore will now take on Hubil Tigers in the final tomorrow.
